And said they will improve on the online customer service experience. so so so disappointed with the service! I ordered the sweet poatato matcha cake to suprise my partner for his bday. The cake was ruined upon its delivery to Galleria (the pick-up location). I reachout to the bakery to see if we can arrange for another cake to be delivered on a seperate day or SOME form of compensation for all the wasted effort on my part. They COMEPLETLY ignored me. The cake tastes super mediocre, but would have been okay with it if the cute aesthetic was not completely ruined. Honestly the worst cakeT experience ever.

Strawberry roll is my family's favorite, because it used to be good quality. However, look at the photos now for what I got, it was a shocking experience. The cream in the middle collapsed on one side and barely find any decent size berries like it used to be. A roll of cake with price of $24, it was a true disappointment.☹️☹️☹️ —————————————————— Love their strawberry Swiss rolls.?

Their cakes are not so sweet compared to others and the fresh cream quality is absolutely wonderful. And the taste of cake is heavenly good♡. This time, I pre- ordered a fresh fruit cake for my hubby's 39th birthday. When I picked up the cake on his birthday, the cake was SMASHED inside of the box.. It was like O..M..G.. (assuming that the delivery man didn't take care of it gently enough.. .) I was very upset as everything was perfectly ready for the birthday but the cake.. I quickly got out from the galleria supermarket in downtown toronto as I had to find a bakery shop and pick up a special cake again in an hour.. Quickly after, I got a phone call from bakery gateu and the owner showed feeling of sorry sincerely and offered me a new cake again for free.. Honestly, if I didn't get the phone call from the nice owner on the day, I would have never ordered any cakes from them anymore. But, I felt I was an important customer for them. The way of talking and taking care of customer on the special day was quit touched me.. Thanks a lot again for your kind and warm gesture, Beakery Gateu!! My family always loves your cake!!! -Rebecca

S	S.A. Reviews and Comments on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Glad they still had a few sweet potato cakes available when I stopped by on new year's eve. The bear design is awfully cute. The cake has good balance of flavors. It's not gonna has full flavor like cheesecakes or chocolate cakes of course. They got the sweetness of cream layers perfectly. The cake layers are dense and bouncy. I also love how they leave some sweet potato chunks in it. Everything just about right. It's not gonna make you WOW. But it's a cake that has healing effects and can give you comforts in any day.
