We went there as mandarin no longer have a lunch buffet. The ambiance is different with beacon boat’s however the food was ok. The selections were limited. They have a Peking duck station but that was only for dinners. Pricing for lunch was 22.99 seniors get 20% off with ID

It is alright for a buffet. I thought there’d be more choices available, but it felt like going to a food court than a place called so grandiose as β€œDragon Pearl Buffet.” The food is pretty average and tasted like Chinese takeout (very oily). I came the day they served scallops, but you needed to show them a card (like a scallop coupon) to receive one. It came with one scallop and I was a bit underwhelmed. I was also excited to eat some lobsters that were available, but they were served with scarcity. The desserts were on the mediocre side too. The cakes and pastries available tasted like the packaged ones you can find at the bakery section at grocery stores. The staff were good though. Although there were a handful of people dining already, I never had a dirty plate on my table for too long and servers were around frequently just in case my table needed a drink. Overall, the place is okay.

I can't believe people line up for this over priced garbage food. $45 per person for Mother's Day is price gouging and they know it. Their buffet has limited options and food is mostly bland. The mashed potatoes were extremely watery and looked like slop. The giant tea kettle with green tea is $2.50 but charge an extra $2.50 per cup per person. You're better off just pouring the tea in your water glass and saving the extra money they try to scam out of you. Mannerless people push and shove in there like they haven't seen food in 3 years and the kitchen was slooooow to restock the buffet table. The staff is also rude The decor is the only nice thing about this dump.

I'm Chinese and I enjoy this place just as much as I enjoy all-you-can-eat Japanese food. When I crave AYCE and Asian food, this is my favourite place in Toronto so far. They have two locations technically, Dragon Pearl and Dragon Legend (and I think its the same chain). Dragon Pearl is situated in a plaza with abundant parking. I would recommend making a reservation whether it's COVID dine-in or not. The place is big but it's very popular too. They have a great selection of food. It's not the most vast but enough for you to pick favourites and go for seconds. They have a salad and appetizer bar, desserts bar including Tofu pudding and ice cream plus the cones, their famous Peking duck station, sushi and sashimi, meat station, fried food and a variety of Chinese dishes spicy and non-spicy. I always fill myself with too much food! The service (recent experience) is great. The staff were very welcoming, they were diligent in clearing our plates after each finished round and to refill our waters.

The place is massive. Has a nice decor. Tons of food. Had the most unexpected food options like Pizza and Garlic bread. We had a Reservation for 5.30 pm. Some of the food was cold initially maybe as there were less people for the buffet. Has some vegetarian options.

I really like this buffet. The atmosphere is always great. The staff here have been wonderful and are very attentive. The food is delicious, however I think it was way better pre COVID. Their COVID precautions are on point. They scan your vaccine passport prior to being seated. They give you gloves to wear while getting your food. They have multiple boxes of fresh gloves for you to use when you need it. Everyone is required to wear their mask and use the gloves in the buffet area. The whole process made me feel safe and comfortable. They are a bit on the pricey side, but they do have a great selection of food and dessert options. I love the Peking duck here. By far my favourite menu item. If you are driving here, the parking at the front of the restaurant is limited, however if you drive further in, you’ll see more parking spots available at the back of the plaza.

Nice Chinese Buffet overall. Have plenty of options to choose from and lots of seating which works well for large family gatherings or parties. March 2022 Update: Star rating just went down from a 4 to a 3 from a recent visit as the price is quite high now and isn’t justified for the quality of food you’re getting. You’re much better off going to a Chinese a la carte restaurant now as you will get much better food made fresh to order for cheaper. Not much of a good value here anymore unfortunately.
