β β β β β Nothing outstanding. Small portions, higher price, everything is very salty. Tiny parking lot, not the best food, prices, friendliness....but not the worst.

β β β β β Treated myself to the Sushi Lunch Special for take-out today and I was so glad that I did! The sushi was very fresh and tasty, nicely presented, and it came with a nice fresh salad and miso soup. Definitely better quality than your run-of-the-mill sushi joints. You won't be disappointed. Will be treating myself more often.

β β β β β This is our go to place for bento box lunch. Served with miso soup, every option is yummy. My personal favourite is the Kalbi bento, you just can't go wrong. Sushi and sashimi are delicious too.

β β β β β Way overrated. The fish are not fresh. Feels like they have been in the fridge for at least a week. The beef teppanyaki is way over cooked. The octopus, instead of tender and bouncy when bitten is powdery instead. Ewww. At this price range, there are better choices.

β β β β β I am a neighbouring business in the same plaza as Gonoe Sushi.
I order from them as a treat once a week or so and this is the best sushi Iβve ever had in my life. They use the freshest ingredients, the facility is so clean, they have unique little huts to sit in privately. Awesome atmosphere and humans that run this place.
Not to mention they are a pleasure to share a plaza with, Very peaceful kind and thoughtful! Thank you Gonoe for making me one of my favourite meals fresh and delicious every time!

β β β β β Great place. Nice staff. Vegetariano options. Maki, Udon soup and salad are delicious. And the price is not expensive. We will go back for sure. Hot sake highly recommended.

β β β β β I used to go here all the time before the pandemic and I went for the first time in a while after the pandemic. It was great as always. Food tasted great and the service was amazing.
They gave us complimentary soup with our order and it was pretty good as well.
The only reason this wouldn't be a 5 star is because the blue fin tuna belly that they had wasn't the best. It was okay, but not great. However, based on past experiences, I've left this as a 5 star.

β β β β β Popular with the weekday lunch crowd. Sushi was fresh and menu was expansive. Booths and photos gave a nice, home-y touch in an otherwise industrial area. Service was standard (went on a weekend). Overall slightly pricey.
