Joshuelle has an open, friendly and caring energy which makes her easy to open up to and be comfortable with immediately. Her organization and structure ensures that you know what to expect and will get the most out of your meetings with her even if you don’t really know where to start or what to ask, but she’s also flexible and happy to focus on whatever you need, if you have specifics in mind. I really appreciated how she was able to help me stay focused on my hoped-for birth, while never making it seem like it couldn’t still be great even if things went differently (which they did). I also loved how much she got to know my husband, included him in all the discussions and treated his role in pregnancy and birth as important. She helps to provide information and tips without bias or trying to push you in a certain direction. You never feel judgment from her, just lots of care, compassion, understanding and support. While we weren’t able to have her attend our birth due to the pandemic, I would have loved to have her there and appreciated all her help before and after immensely.

Joshuelle has a natural talent for nurturing, supporting and connecting with her clients. My birth experience was celebrated and my needs were met because of her intentional tools, the education and sentiments she provides as friend and doula. I felt as though I was among family each moment with Josh, it was a true blessing to have her energy to help ground me in the birth of my second child, at home. As a woman, I am in awe of the integrity of the birth work healing Joshuelle provides. As a client, I am overjoyed by her excellence and passion. Our first visit we sat together on the floor, she led me through a meditation I will never forget. ‘Babylove’ is what Joshuelle exudes, she has a magnetic love that resonates in each interaction. I highly recommend her expertise; she goes above and beyond to create a synergetic birth plan that is executed with purpose. From the music, scents, tea lights, video footage - Joshuelle does it all! I have to take a moment to appreciate the yogi education that Joshuelle shared with me. Her knowledge and application during birth was so beneficial and gave me confidence to flip over during the crowing of my daughter (as instructed by my midwives, good advice!). I knew I could trust my birth team to assist, Joshuelle especially, as she helped to support my upper body throughout labour and delivery! Postpartum, a whole other journey that Babylove is prepared to cultivate with you! I was so happy to have Joshuelle stay overnight when I was in early labour (extra care!) and truly blown away when she made lactation cookies and stayed to help with baby in the first precious hours of her life. Joshuelle made me tea, took time to check in on me and has cared about my well-being beyond the 4th trimester. Let me tell you, her cookies are phenomenal for milk production, I have some in the freezer still, just for emergency (she gives to you to freeze). Joshuelle, we appreciate you so much. Joshuelle is an amazing doula. I’m grateful to have had her support during my first pregnancy. She is kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable. Her help was invaluable - in preparing for birth and motherhood, and getting through the last few months of pregnancy. She gave us great guidance on everything we needed to know to prepare for the baby, and she was easily accessible and responsive. I was planning for a hospital birth, and at the hospital, she was an expert at navigating the medical system while creating a safe and supportive environment for me and my partner. She always centered my needs, tailored her supports to our situation, and was in tune with our cultural traditions. We couldn’t have asked for a better doula. One of my favourite moments was when she handed me my daughter to hold for the first time, after I had an emergency c-section. I’m so happy to have had her be a part of that. She’s also a great support for after birth, and makes the most amazing lactation cookies! I would highly recommend her to any expecting parent.

Joshuelle was amazing, so caring with our babies and very wise in her advice on how to troubleshoot our newborns. Would definitely recommend to anyone for her superb duola skills and baby minding abilities!

Joshuelle is an absolutely amazing person, and a fantastic doula. She helped us throughout our pregnancy, and during the post-partum period as well. During labor, her presence was so calming, and had really calmed me down since my labor was so chaotic. I vividly remember freaking out, and looking over at my husband, but he was a nervous-wreck - which DID NOT help. I then look over to Joshuelle, and her calming presence was exactly what I needed. Both baby and mama is well. Once we had the baby, we were always so nervous since we are first time parents with no family support. Joshuelle helped us throughout the first month with the baby. She taught us how to burp the baby, bathe him, different feeding positions, baby wearing, etc. She also helped me with getting the baby to latch correctly. Every time she visited we just felt so much better. I'm so grateful Joshuelle was a part of our journey! Thanks Joshuelle :) Oh and her lactation cookie is amazing, I literally had to ration it because it's so good.

Joshuelle is an amazing Doula who is extremely gentle with infants and really knows how to keep them calm. She is very knowledgeable and provided us with ample guidance and support. We were super lucky to have her availability at such short notice. She also effortlessly helped with many household chores and took a load off our shoulders. Her presence around the house resulted in a very stress free environment at a home of first time parents. I would widely recommend reaching out to her if anyone is looking for a Doula.
