P	Prapon Wongsangaroonsri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Baan Wasana is amazing! I've been trying many Thai restaurants around Vancouver whenever I get homesick. We've ordered pineapple fried rice, eggplants, and Poh Taek soup from Baan Wasana and was so impressed. Amazing flavours that reminds me of home.

The "we don't care what you think" attitude is what left a bad taste in my mouth. I got take out for a large group. (I like to support family owned/operated businesses). When I called the restaurant to give feedback about their portions and voiced that the food was really good but we were not satisfied with the portion size, she was snappy and quick to say that the portions we received are the correct portion and if we don't want to order in the future that was okay. That's NOT how you run a business! We will not be ordering from here again. There are many great Thai restaurants in the lower mainland that I would rather give my business to...family owned and operated or not this time.
J	J Ko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly, family owned restaurant. Food were delicious, tried their tom yum gong, bbq beef salad, red curry chicken and coconut sticky rice with fresh mango. You can select spiciness from 1 to 5, 5 being extra spicy.

Haven't eaten any Thai foods for a long while, one day I was craving for Thai foods and I went to here for lunch. For the first visit I had Yellow Curry Chicken with rice. They served the Curry in a bowl and the rice in the dish. The portion is just good for lunch. I picked mild spicy and it was really not so spicy. The curry tasted well and balance, not too mild and not to strong. Then ingredients absorbed the curry flavour and it was easy for me to finish the rice. As the first time the mild spicy level was so mild, in my second visit I ordered Masamun Curry Chicken with rice and picked medium spicy. It tasted better with the peanuts and white union in the curry. Again I finished all. The lunch set came with a small bowl of soup or green salad. The soup tasted slightly sweet and it could improve your appetite. I had the same soup in another Thai restaurant that used thyme and I think thyme is slightly better. For the environment and service, they were excellent. The restaurant was very clean, no matter the table or floor. They put some That decorations and played Thai music. The servers were very attentive and nice. Overall the dining experience in here was quite good and I will go there again to try other Thai dishes.

Items: 2 orders satay, large Jasmine rice, lettuce wrap, red curry, shrimp pad thai, sweet and sour pork, veggie delight. The lady was very helpful over the phone. Everything was delicious, esp the red curry! The only wish was for bigger portions for some of the items (ie.the red curry, vegetable delight, lettuce wrap filling). The serving size is smaller than expected given the prices.
