β β β β β Dr. Mrar always goes above and beyond. He is always willing to squeeze my pets in for last minute emergencies and delivers superior care. He genuinely cares about your animals and always discusses costs in an open, informative and honest manner. Tikaani, Ashur and Binx do not mind their check ups at Avon Animal Hospital!

β β β β β We have used this clinic for years with multiple pets. Last Friday my cat was in obvious distress , with blood in urine. We were able to get into see the Vet right away (which is amazing service in it's own right!). He showed the compassion & care we needed during a stressful time. After a (next day) surgery on her bladder to remove multiple crystals, our fur-baby is home again and is on the mend. Today we even received a follow up phone call to check in on her condition. So kind. We cannot say enough positive things about the staff and services provided at this clinic. Thank you for everything. Avon Animal Clinic is the best!!

β β β β β I have been a monthly visitor due to my dog, Conwayβs, allergy therapy. Weβre always treated like VIPβs and the vet makes a point to say hi anytime I stop by. Their pricing on dental cleaning is surprisingly affordable. I love that they have text reminders for appointment and when his vaccinations are due. Basically they make it much less stressful for both Conway and I. Thank you to all the staff at Avon Animal Hospital!

β β β β β Took my dog there just now because I thought there might be a stick stuck in his teeth, called prior to see what they can do and they gave no advice, told me to bring him in so he can have a look. Once arrived I was asked to weigh my own dog and wait in the waiting room. The vet then said they have to sedate him by injection to even look at him. There was no questions asked about his behaviour or symptoms. I didnβt want to sedate him as i had the same thing happen with my other dog and there was no sedation required by the other vet. If they told me they required to sedate him at this clinic over the phone I would never of taken him in.
I said I would see if i can get his mouth open today and bring him back tomorrow for sedation if he was still having issues.
Overall i was in the clinic for 10 minutes about 7 of them were waiting, 1 minute was an interaction with the Vet (who didnβt even touch or look at the dog) and 2 minutes was the vet raising their voice at me when i questioned the $40 bill for doing nothing.
I saw some bad reviews saying they are all about transactions and not about animals before taking my dog there last time to get teeth removed and fixed. I now see why these reviews are there as they didnβt seem concerned whatsoever of my dog and were all about making a quick buck.

β β β β β My cat had gotten attacked by a Coyote and we took it in to this vet not knowing the costs it would come up to my mom doesn't have much money to save my cats life and make sure she doesn't get an infection but at this animal hospital they were really nice and willing to figure something out for what they can do with the price range and on top of that the Vancouver humane society was a big help and I am so lucky and thankful they were here to help me and my cat monkey today.

My dog Kai injured his leg by falling off the couch.The doctor was very patient and playful with my dog, the doctor took kais X-ray and explained everything in details about the issue, he then gave us medication for my dog and told us what causations to take for my dogs better health.Very friendly environment and the receptionist was very helpful as well.Would definitely recommend going here.

β β β β β Iβve spent so much money here and being on disability it isnβt the easiest on me. The staff have always been kind and tried to help me out in small ways here and there. Recently I was incredibly disappointed by their response to something. During his yearly visit as my dog is getting older I decided to get his blood work and urine culture done. I paid for it all upfront but was never told I would have to bring the urine sample back within 15 days. This past weekend I finally had a chance to bring in the sample and I was told that the lab wouldnβt take it and I would have to pay for it again. Since I wasnβt told about the 15 day period at the original appointment I feel as if they shouldβve offered to either refund the original amount I paid or taken care of the new lab charge. At this point sadly I think Iβm going to be looking for another vet

β β β β β Such a amazing vet. We brought our cat Severus in after he hurt himself. The doctor was extremely helpful and caring towards us. We will be bringing our puppy Remus in for his shots as well. We now have a permanent vet for our family.
