M	Mika Thürler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is crazy fricken good. The owners are really cool and seem to love what they do. All the food was so nice. It was all super fresh and tasty. Some of the best food I've ever eaten.
C	C C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I see this restaurant on the way to work everyday and have always wanted to try it. I decided to order take out and was pleasantly surprised. The staff are really friendly and the food was delicious though the Caracas burger was slightly overcooked. There are a lot of options on the menu including gluten free and vegetarian selections. The arepa are a little on pricey side but yummy nonetheless. Don't forget the tres leche cake for dessert!

The service was overall good, need to improve the cleanliness of the tables cause ours was really really soiled as soon as we sat, plus, the orders took longer to be served than what we were initially told. The food itself was really good, though I would suggest having in stock sour cream so you could enjoy cachapas better (as the proper menu photo shows).
C	Catherine Mar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my girlfriend were looking forward to visiting this place since we are both Latin American, and wanted to try Venezuelan food. Unfortunately, when we got there we didn't feel welcome and we immediately wanted to leave, but we wanted to give a try to the food, so we just asked for something small to start. Five minutes later a group of about 6 people arrived, and it was extremely obvious the way they were treated was completely different. They immediately got water for everyone, and the owner of the shop was the one to welcome them, have the small talk and take their order. We were never even offered water. We asked for two empanadas, for TWO people, and they gave it to us in only one dish, which made it extremely uncomfortable to eat, and at the end we had to use napkins as dishes. I wish we had left since the very beginning when we felt the customer service was not great. We both felt discriminated. So disappointing.

They were also on the pricy side as they ranged between $14 to $16 and weren’t too large in size. The cocada was also enjoyable but fairly sweet and the glass was only about half full for $6. I would have preferred if they diluted the drink with more milk to fill up the glass more and make it a bit less sweet. Overall, I would rate the food and drinks a 7/10. If you haven’t visited @avilaarepa before, I would recommend that you do as it is something different and interesting!

Delicious empanadas, patacon with meat and cabbage on top, pork bites, the arepas are delish! The restaurant is small and cozy and the staff is super friendly. I’d definitely go again next time I’m in Edmonton!

Excellent service and highly recommended! Look forward to trying out other dishes on the menu..

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant is extremely clean and well taken care of. Avila Arepa offers dine-in, take-out and delivery on various platforms.
