Matt and his staff have been looking after my vehicles for almost five years now and I always look forward to going into the shop, even if its for just simple routine servicing to fixing an issue that has befallen my vehicle. They are kind, courteous, highly skilled and knowledgeable and the turnaround time on booking appointments to getting whatever needed done on your vehicle is impressive. They will seek out to perform the most cost effective solution to get you up and running without cutting corners and will go as far as giving you a complementary loaner vehicle while your vehicle is in the shop. They make you feel like family. You cannot go wrong with Automotive Edge.

I had called early morning inquiring whether they could take a look at my car with no notice and they took me in that day and completed the work that had to be done. This business has come across as being trustworthy, courteous and compassionate. As a young female I will jokingly say I don’t enjoy walking into mechanic shops but my experience here was splendid. Thanks again for taking me in so soon and unexpectedly.

I really love the service report they text me every time I bring my car in. It’s full of pictures so I know what they are seeing (and the extra information on why something is important to fix/maintain is very helpful since I don’t know much about cars). They let me know if something urgently needs to be fixed because of safety, or if I can wait a while. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place. I’m much happier now that I switched over to them.

When they have done any work on my car, Matt has been upfront and honest with me about what needs to be serviced. In early April, I took my car in to get my tires and oil changed. It was discovered that it was time to replace both my Brake Rotors and Pads. We checked to find out the last time they were replaced. Amazingly, the type of brake pads I had purchased before lasted quite a longtime (good value). I would recommend Automotive Edge because they are friendly people that provide quality work and they like coffee!

When Matt, the owner communicated directly, I felt I could trust the work that was being done. After some time he brought sales and customer service staff on and, as can happen, things progressively went down hill. Pushy sales tactics, poor communication and inexperience. A high amount of sales staff rotating through which can be difficult for regular customers to develop rapport and trust. I’ve tried to give the benefit of the doubt because my experience was so good previously when dealing with Matt directly. I emailed Matt privately to express my concern and never heard back from him. I would likely have stayed on as his customer had I been acknowledged. I’ve since moved-on to a really great mechanic in K-W. I wish Matt success with his business, and being a business owner myself, understand the growing pains of building a business. All the best Matt.

Just recently, they looked over a "new" car I bought, and there was an issue with it. I bought my Nissan from Toyota, and they didn't want to help me. Debbie insisted it was under warranty with the dealership. I called around, and Kitchener Nissan and they said it wasn't under warranty. Debbie insisted it was. So she suggested I call Guelph Nissan. I called them...and it was! Debbie saved me a lot of money that Automotive Edge "lost out on". They are honest and will help you and do what's best for you, not their pockets. They are all amazing at Automotive Edge!
