I'd like to thank the proprietor for kindly accommodating some last minute changes and doing everything to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. As always , I highly recommend the Auberge to anyone who would like to stay in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, the owner is such a nice man. We went to Montebello to see an art exhibition. The hotel is super cute and retro. Amazing pool, a patio, a restaurant, and fair priced drinks. The bed was super comfortable, the room was a standard hotel room, with coffee maker, cable and free wifi. Breakfast was included, and better than a usual hotel continental breakfast. Parking was easy, and everything in town is a very close walk. I will stay here again, it's got a good vibe, and is very affordable in comparison to other Hotels in town. Reading other reviews, the Karen's need to calm down the price reflects the establishment. If you want more go pay 700+ down the street.

Memory Foam bed was amazing and the pool was a nice surprise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for fresh and clean rooms without any bad smells and a well kept facility this is the right place.
It's a nice break away from the big brand hotels while still having the cleanliness and professionalism that you expect in a modern hotel. As you can see in the pictures, it stays true to the classic look and feel that we love about Montebello. We got the classic King suite and the bed was a full size king and very comfortable.
The owners are a wonderful couple who also provide authentic Indian cuisine. You'll get to experience the delicious aromas when you walk past the restaurant. It's a must try. We love the Thali plate because it allowed us to taste a little bit of everything.
We highly recommend trying it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really dont understand the bad ratings. The owner was really charming and nice, the rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The price is reasonable. The atmosphere was very charming and the included breakfast not bed. Even though there were only 4 people in the whole hotel, the owner wanted to cook us a meal in the evening, despite the closed kitchen. Very charming, will come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderfully warm place in a charmingly quaint town! We arrived at night on New Year’s eve in the midst of new COVID-19 restrictions and I was thinking where and what we’d eat because everything looked closed. To our pleasant surprise this place not only has a restaurant but offers Indian cuisine which to us (from Pakistan) seemed like heaven. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast and the owner was very very kind to make us steaming mugs of ilaichi chai (cardamom tea) with breakfast. Clean rooms and linens, heating and hot water, a warm homely vibe and the feels of a small European town…I’d definitely recommend Auberge Montebello and would love to stay here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The receptionist “Jeff” or “Jefferson” was so rude and unprofessional and unwelcoming. The level of customer service is very low & he was so aggressive. Even he didn’t greet and said hi to the guests. He need more customer service training.
