Confirmed that the issue was the starter and was able to install a new starter within a couple of hours and at a very good price. They know what they're doing, and I'll be recommending this place to everyone I know that is having issues with their vehicle - Jay G.

β β β β β It was a Friday afternoon and I needed my car for the weekend. They were able to accommodate me last minute and replaced my starter in about one and a half hours. Very friendly and great prices.
They were referred to me by Stan's Transmissions (another great business) and I was happy to see they had great reviews before I called. It's a very unassuming little shop but I definitely recommend them after the service I got!

After a quick check the problem was determined, explained the issue, the fix and fair price. i was in and out in 30mins. straightforward and honest to deal with. β β β β β I just wanted to thank Ashnat for his recommendation for a charging issue I was having with my alternator in my 1981 BMW 528i. It was not putting out enough voltage at idle to run most of my accessories without dropping voltage below 13 volts; nearly to 12v with the high beams on. He recommended that I try putting on a new (10GA) ground wire (from the alternator case to the battery), because there was a .2 volt drop. This seems like a small voltage drop, but it was taking away from the full potential of my alternator, which is only a 55 ampere unit to start with. Now on idle I'm almost up to 14 volts and still above 13 volt when I have all the accessories on. Not bad for a $15 trip to Lordco!
Will definitely be back if I need any rebuild work done!

β β β β β I like the dealership that I take my cars to for things like oil changes and regular maintenance. But when it comes to potentially more expensive repairs, I like to get a second opinion. Brought my car to Yugen today based on other people's good reviews. He swapped out the battery for me and reassured me that there weren't any issues with my alternator. Quick, polite and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
