I met Mark 18 months ago through co-workers. My initial goal was to build strength in advance of major surgery. Afterwards, he's been helping with the recovery process and he's been far more helpful than any of the physiotherapists I've seen. I'm on the way to being in far better shape than before the operation. On top of all that Mark is nice guy who truly cares about his clients. I would highly recommend him!

Mark Arlou (of Arlou Fitness) has guided my workouts for several years , both in a group fitness class setting, and more recently through private training sessions. I currently attend private training sessions with Mark once every two weeks, and I also attend the gym two-to-three more times every week on my own. During each private training session with Mark, I have him shoot cellphone video of each of the prescribed exercises. This strategy benefits me in two ways. First, whenever I attend the gym, I always have at my fingertips an organized menu of exercises that I need to cover off. Every minute at the gym (whether with Mark or on my own) is now spent in an extremely efficient manner. Second, I now consider each Arlou Fitness training session to be an β€œevent” that I must train for. Mark sets each of my private training sessions at just the right difficulty level – one that is perfectly aligned to my own abilities, yet one that requires me to prepare between sessions! I would strongly recommend Arlou Fitness for anybody wanting a better solution toward meeting his or her fitness goals, and I only wish Google would allow me to award him SIX stars!

I highly recommend Mark as your personal fitness trainer. I have been training for 2 years. Mark has excellent personalized plans, never boring, he's always in the gym earlier than me, getting equipment ready and set to go. Great job, Mark!

Signing up with Mark is one of the best things I’ve ever done. He makes every session challenging (yet somehow fun) and I actually look forward to my workouts. He is always reliable and punctual and has every workout planned. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a personal trainer.

I was so very fortunate to have met Mark Arlou a couple of years ago! From the β€˜get-go’ Mark has been an amazing trainer. I have attended group training sessions with him (which were always fun and challenging) and now train with him one-on-one whenever my schedule allows. No matter when I am scheduled to see Mark - he is always there waiting for me with towel in hand and ready to go! Mark works very closely with me to meet my personal goals. At the moment, I am training for a Spartan Obstacle Race so he is target training me to ensure I will be ready in Sep 2018! Mark has that β€˜personal’ touch too! He sometimes checks in during the week - just to see how I am doing or feeling. That extra touch truly adds to my commitment to training - motivating me even more to want to come to each session to work hard. He provides additional advice on stretching, and possible cross-training to supplement his personal training sessions. I am forever amazed each week as Mark designs new and varied training regimes that keep things fun and interesting. He is so very encouraging and supportive but β€˜tough’ at the same time. I always know I am going to be challenged (just to the right level). I can only say this - if you are looking to work on your fitness levels in a fun, challenging and safe way - book yourself a training session with Mark Arlou! You won’t ever look back!

Mark is a great trainer. Lighthearted but dedicated. Flexible to fit your busy schedule. Supportive and encouraging but knows just how hard to push you to challenge you to perform at your best. I have been seeing Mark for over 13 months and noticed a marked difference in my physical capabilities and confidence. No one workout is the same as the last and his knowledge of dynamic full-body exercises is impressive. Highly recommended!

Fantastic trainer!! Patient, considerate, flexible and doesn't let us slack off when he knows we can push a little further. I've been lucky to have Mark train at my workplace twice a week in a group setting for the last 18months, and can honestly say I've never had a boring session. He is always bringing new exercises and energy to the weekly session. Thank you, Mark!

Mark Arlou is the best trainer I have worked with. The knowledge, thoughts and efforts he puts into his programming and instruction are so impressive. He is diligent and dedicated to the career, and is always warm and polite. I’ve been training with him for over a year now, I’m still excited to go to every single session.
