β β β β β I love shopping here for my birthday, Get Well & Holiday cards. The owners are very helpful and they carry a variety of items you may not realize you need until you see it. There is even a Canada Post Outlet at the back of the store.

β β β β β Zero Stars! I went to drop off packages and patiently waited in line, then when It was my turn, the man At the Canada post counter refused to issue receipts as proof that I had dropped off the items for return. He said I had to wait for the one person in line behind me to get served before he could give me a receipt. Iβm 41 years old and have never even had to ask for a receipt, in fact itβs always offered at other Canada post locations. This man spent six minutes refusing to issue a receipt when he could have spent 45 seconds printing off the receipt. I just donβt understand why he went out of his way to be rude and unhelpful. Also the gift items in this shop are all outdated and overpriced. Go somewhere else for you own sake.

β β β β β Even though it is a sub-contractor, the Canada Post outlet at Arlene's has superior customer service by far.
Oh, and there's a Street Letter Box outside, should you just need to post a letter.

β β β β β I love supporting small local businesses, but the merchandise never seems to turn over. Iβve seems like the same gift items in there for years and they are starting to look worn and used, especially the plush animals. Not to mention the items are overpriced compared to other gift shops. Sadly this is not the reason I do not shop here anymore, but it is because the employees, especially the man at the Canada Post service desk, have always been very unfriendly and unhelpful. Iβve shopped here for years and not once have they ever said hello or returned a smile. In fact the man at the Canada post desk scowls when he has to do his job. He doesnβt seem to want to lift a finger which may be problematic in his position. My husband has had the same experience when he dropped off a package and the same man got so angry because he couldnβt scan the bar code because it was too large and he had to manually enter in the code. He was extremely mean. That said, I would take my business elsewhere. The world is filled with enough misery, we donβt need it going to the post trying to mail something off.
