★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They turned away my 3 yr daughter who was having breathing trouble at 5:30 because they close at 6. Other kids at her daycare came down with the same thing so we knew what it was, just needed the doctor to confirm give her an inhaler.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The receptionist for Arkell Medical Centre is ignorant, unpleasant and stressful to deal with. Not only did I have to call multiple times for 5 weeks for her to answer, she was rude and unapologetic.
All I am looking for is my medical records due to my doctor now being retired. She then proceeded to tell me I have to get them from my new doctor and when I told her I don't have one she brought up that last time i didn't want them... (Before my doctor was retired)??!! Why do you have to be so disrespectful and how do you still have a job there?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathetic excuse of a doctor. Dismissed all concerns and interrupted before even hearing all the details. Totally rude and unprofessional. Don't waste your time here unless you want your concerns brushed off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst front desk service ever. the receptionist was very stressful to deal with and very rude. I went during lunch break and she told me come again at 1:00PM, I went back around 1:00 and she gave me an appointment for 2:20PM. I went back 2:15 for my appointment, and I got service from doctor around 2:45PM. The doctor and the pharmacist people are good. I had bad experience with receptionist and she had my birthdate and name wrong even that I gave her my health card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the receptionist was awful to me. so ignorant. i called ahead and asked if they could take me for my depo shot today, and she told me if it’s just a shot it should be fine. when i got here she told me “you're lucky no one else is here, because it doesn’t just work like that. the world doesn’t revolve around you, you would have to wait your turn.” i literally didn’t ask to be out ahead of anyone. i just asked if i could come get it today. she could have said something over the phone if it bothered her that much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just tried to walk in because I’ve been having chest and back pain for the past 2 weeks. Before I could even finish my sentence she told me I wasn’t allowed to be in there with that symptom because of Covid. Even though I’ve tested negative for COVID recently, never even gave me the chance to say that. Doctor is EXTREMELY rude. If you want to be treated with any sort of respect do not come here.

Not great experience. It is awful to get hold of the reception over the phone. Doctor was running late as well.
Quite frustrating if I need to clear half a day for a quick clinic visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this clinic the first time on Wednesday May 11th - overall, it was a great experience. I arrived around 5:20 (the walk-in finished at 6 pm) and based on my experience at other clinics, I thought I had no likelihood of getting in due to a patient backlog. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. There was one other patient in front of me, so there were no issues getting seen. The receptionist was friendly as was the doctor. The doctor was very kind and professional and, in my opinion, properly diagnosed my issue and provided what I believe was the right prescription. I would gladly go back to this clinic again!
