Good building to live in, great pool but unfortunately we have not been able to use it for over a year :( DO NOT GET IF YOU EXPECT A HOT TUB!!!!! There are only two hot tubs in the building and they belong to 2 of the SPH units (NOT AVAILABLE TO WHOLE BUILDING)

Live here for 1 year and 4 months. Property Management is great - Sonia is a very nice property manager and I have dealt with many who are not nearly as nice. The amenities are nice, when I was able to use them that is. DEL, however, whom i rented through, is a nightmare. For many reasons such as increasing rent during a pandemic, requesting unrealistic move-out requirements to save them money, made me dislike this building. Plus absolutely no compensation for the limited access of amenities. The pool was also promised to be available by a month after i moved in. Month after month this date was pushed until next year. It was promised June 2019 falsely to sell this unit to me as a rental and finally was available on August 2020. Additionally, the units are built with cheap materials and are not well built at all. You can tell it has been built to cut costs, as the wear/tear damage done to the unit is unacceptable for only 1 1/2 years of living inside it. Mold grew in the cockings of the bathtubs extremely easily, visible paint drippings from the paint job of the initial build, exposed wire/steel on the walls due to a poor paint/dry wall job, obvious building workarounds to accomodate last minute changes. The counter top materials are cheap, and so are all the materials made to build the unit. You can tell this was rushed to sell and just make money for the cheapest way possible. Glad I'm not living here anymore, much happier financially and mentally in my much cheaper room in my nice Toronto house in Leslieville. To Sonia and building management - thank you, you were honestly great. Everything I have pointed out to you is beyond your control unfortunately.

Amazing location by Lake Ontario. The boardwalk is a very popular place to relax, meditate, have lunch or dinner, walk, filming and photography, or propose to your partner. It is a magical almost secret location to enjoy nature with the water as the view and trees for shade. Surrounding is an art installation, ice rink, parks with kid friendly swings and other play structures, public washrooms, famous Sugar beach, Loblaws, Distillery District, St Lawrence Market, and Downtown core is a short walk away.

Property management does not communicate with residents; outdoor pool is yet again not open by Victoria day weekend with no explanation at all. Last year (2021) outdoor pool opened in August. As of May 30, outdoor amenities (fire pits) are not available for no apparent reason. Residents are in the dark as to when these amenities open and close for the season. Some "common areas" are not available for regular use and must be reserved. For example, if you wanted to play a game of billiards, IT COSTS $75.00 to play (most expensive pool table in Toronto). Whereas in every other building you could just drop in and play or reserve a play time. These ridiculous user fees supposedly cover wear and tear, but maintenance should be covering this. Property management seems to be out of touch with the needs of the community.

Near the University of Toronto in a long-term care facility by a ravine, Aquavista is one of the most inviting condominium complexes in Toronto. The people here are constantly friendly and welcoming to new faces. The building itself is clean and modern, with a full-time superintendent to take care of all the indoor maintenance. I love the fact that there are no carpets in the units, and instead have wall-to-wall hardwood floors everywhere - I cannot stand walking on carpets because they feel dead to me.
