Visited today for strawberry picking. Arrived around 2/230pm and bought two baskets for myself. It was only after my payment was done that the cashiers explained there weren’t many strawberries left and where to go to try my luck. I asked what would happen if I don’t fill up my two baskets and they said no refund. I really wished they told me before I paid because telling me after the fact feels like they intentionally cheated me. Well I filled my baskets as best as I could after scavenging for almost 2hrs. Basically tiny poor quality strawberries left. When I was leaving around 4/430pm there were still some people arriving and the sign at the entrance said sold out. There are children activities with swings and farm animals to pet. Some seating areas in shaded areas. Small booth with merchandise for sale like honey and maple syrup. Hot chips available. Short walk to the fields or farm wagon. Portal potties available in parking lot. Some covid measures. Most people don’t wear masks on the fields. They also eat and spit strawberries on the field. Lots of wasted produce trampled on too. Overall it was alright but don’t buy more baskets than you need!

Lots of fun stuff to do with the family, with apple picking, pumpkin and squash picking, corn maze, sunflower field, etc. It can get quite busy and packed on the fall weekends, as can be seen with the traffic pile up on Mccowan road, however the traffic wait isn't too long to get to the parking on the open field, approx 10 mins. But that's to be expected when it's quite close and convenient to the city. Lots of varieties of apples. The ambrosia apples were abundant and delicious.

Applewood Farm is one of our favourite fall outings. We go every fall m to enjoy apple picking, picking pumpkins, a wagon ride, playing at the playground and this year the sunflower field was a beautiful addition. The apples from this farm (doesn't matter the type) are always delicious. The staff are friendly and the prices are fair.

Our kids and us love this place so much! Picking your own apples or strawberries, having a ride on tractor, feeding goats, playing on playground, so much to do here! Thank you for being awesome!!!

We started our Thanksgiving weekend at Applewood Farm. Was also last weekend for apple picking. Kids loved wandering through the corn maze! Definitely their favorite activity as it was also their first time navigating a corn maze. Lots of fun looking for & picking apples. Finding the right sized pumpkins, and catching a great view of the farm on wagon ride back from the pumpkin patch. Day ended with buying some absolutely delicious butter tarts & maple syrup.

Had lots of fun walking around the farm! We came to pick apples specifically. Admission is $10 per adult, and comes with a free pumpkin or squash, which is pick-your-own. If you want to pick apples, you can also buy a bag to fill up. The 10lb bag is $15 and the 20lb bag is $25. The farmhouse has a small concession stand selling fries, apple fritters, light snack fare. There's also a small market stand selling farm goods such as raw honey, maple syrup, and other goods. We went mid-September and the apple varieties available were Royal Galas and McIntosh. Royal galas looked especially great this time of year.

Applewood farm is a really great place to be for picking up pinions and apples. The workers at this place are very polite and informative. Their facility was clean a no they supplied a lot of washrooms around the farm. There is hose to clean off your feet after walking around the field full of mud. Overall this place is 10/10 highly recommended to anyone who enjoyed picking apples and pumpkins with their family for a fun day.

Delicious apples. Nice family farm. Very friendly staff. They also have a small playground for kids and a food truck. Things to consider: - we came at 9:30 am, and we were the last car to be let on the closest parking lot (you can see the lineup on the photos, though, it moves really quick). - from the very opening, the farm was packed with visitors (social distancing is possible only on the fields). - despite the sunny and warm weather, the grass is wet (in the morning). It is worth bringing rain boots.
