★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely awful experience! Staff are condescending and rude. If you don't pay the $800 a month for part board and instead decide to take lessons in the school program, the staff will constantly patronize you. They do not care at all about their school program lessons so therefore even tack in the school barn for lessons can be hard to find as everything is so unorganized.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coaches are amazing and it is pretty inexpensive for horseback riding lessons. I learned how to canter, jump, and trot. It is amazing. The stable hands are also very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Michelle and her staff are top-notch. The horses are so well cared for. Riders learn how to ride and care for the horses in a safe and fun environment. The kids develop lasting friendships at this barn and there are opportunities for every level of rider. So glad our daughter chose PAEC!

Kind staff that provides nothing but the best for both horses and riders. I could not have found a more incredible barn than Pause Awhile!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been lucky enough to be apart of the Pause Awhile Family for years now, I have never been apart of a more amazing barn. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and Michelle Johnson will always go above and beyond for the best care of her clients and animals, I never have to worry about my horses as I know they are in great hands when I am not there. The training program is beyond fantastic and I have noticed tremendous growth in both my horses knowledge and capabilities, I can not say enough great things about the environment, the people, the staff and the coaches, such a great positive environment that I have never found anywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My kids have been riding at Pause Awhile for 5 and 2 years. The coaching is top notch and the facility is lovely. You will gain a barn family that you could not have imagined. Everyone is very supportive. The atmosphere is wonderful for children and parents alike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pauseawhile gives my children a home away from home. The owner, coaches and staff are amazing. They care deeply about their horses and their students. My girls riding improves every year and they have made great friends and learnt so much more than just how to ride. There schooling shows are fun, well organized and their aim is always to keep everyone safe. I would without a doubt recommend this riding school to any new or experienced rider.
