★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My vehicle got a puncture the evening before a long weekend. The next day I had to go back to mainland and no repair shops in the area open for the next 2 days. The service manager was kind to come from home on his day off (the next day) to help me get tire fixed. Port Hardy, such a nice people live there. I want to move and live among them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They did get me in fast for a recall however at the same time one of my keys needed to be reset as it wasn’t working- a process they had done in the past no charge.
This time the charge was $60 plus $6 shop supplies. After complaining the fee was dropped to 45$ and no shop charge. This is a less than one minute procedure.
That is an outrageous and unacceptable, I live here in Port Hardy and will never be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High turnover, and unprofessional sales and finance staff. I don't recommend Josh or Anna, both are total time wasters. Bottom line; they sell extremely overpriced autos with no warranty at all. VSA warns of curbers like this. Beware and avoid unless you want to end up bankrupt because of corrupt sales staff. James is very nice and professional, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jaymie, the service manager is wonderful to deal with however, since my first few visits I had the displeasure of dealing with Shawn at the service counter.
His comments in front of me were distasteful.
When I would book in for a simple oil change, Shawn would say he was booking me in for a maintenance 1 and repeat it over as if to start a confrontation because I obviously don't know the Applewood GMC jargon.
He made rude comments regarding service manager Jaymie and as I am a Veteran, he carried on about how he (Shawn), was born to carry a rifle and was meant to fight oversea's as he sat at the service desk in judgement over the fact that I am a female veteran, and he knew this because I have a veteran license plate.
The actual vehicle technicians were great and always took good care of my vehicle with honest care.
Being that Port Hardy is a small community with not many vehicle care options, I feared backlash if I was to make any negative remarks on this. As I will now never go there again, with many other options incase of poor service, I have decided to share my experience on this company.
