★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you haven't already made your reservation make it now. Ankor exceed all expectations. The dishes, cocktails, ambience, service, down to the incense in the restroom. You must try it. And then book yourself a second reservation because you'll leave wanting more of everything they've got.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing dinner. The dishes we tried were worthy of most of the Michelin-starred restaurants we ate at in France or in Spain. Lamb tartare was something we never tried and it was done perfectly. They dry-age duck meat on site, the result is beyond delicious. The cooks in the kitchen seem to truly be enjoying themselves, they are obviously passionate and you can see them working hard in the open kitchen. Desserts were outstanding and creative. Cocktails are also top-notch. Service from out waitress was good and professional. It’s not on the cheap side but given the prices in the area, definitely providing excellent value for money. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow such a great experience. So many interesting flavors and dishes. Really creative stuff. The only miss for me is the desserts. So much creativity in the appies and entrees, but the desserts are kind of lacking. The carrot desert was great but only two options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful experience, with great service and tantalizing food. Our experience was extremely positive. The Amoxicillin cocktail with the garnish really highlighted the profile of the Islay Scotch. Meanwhile, the Bison was like velvet, and the leeks with shallots were divine. Would have liked the potato croquette to feature a softer potato, but that is entirely preference, and does not reflect negatively on the skill and intention behind the preparation. Strong recommendation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a quaint and delicious spot in Canmore! We sat at the bar and enjoyed the wonderful cocktails and watching the action in the kitchen. Our favorite dish was the cavatelli and we debated each day going back to have it again! The space is cozy (less than 10 tables or so!) with a super friendly staff. The dishes were a work of art and so tastefully executed! Would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a great experience. The duck and seafood was really delicious but the squash was not very good. All the food was very delicate and pretty so I can tell the Chef put in a lot of effort. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy fine dining.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of best dining experience I ever had! I went for the 6 course menu and was one food better than other amazing surprises one after other! Tasty, beautiful, a piece of art on every plate! Amazing wine list to pair with your food and great drinks from the bar, which are amazing done by the bartender! The interior is also very beautiful and cozy! A must go!
