Angel Wigs - Edmonton

I accidentally submitted my previous review without adding anymore to it. Anyways, i recently competed in a pageant and needed some more volume and length added to my hair. I wasnt able to drop by for matching before the store closed. So, i had to resort to sending in a bunch of pictures of my hair to see if they could match it. These guys were on point with their selection AND their pricing!! In comparison to some of my other past purchases, this was REALLY good cost for the quality of their product. I went to my competition and received numerous compliments on my hair! I may have had the opportunity to win "Best Hair" but because they found out that my hair wasnt all "my own hair" and that i had extensions, i didn't qualify for that specific title. Definitely check out Angel wigs as they definitely have knowledge and expertise in what they do best!! And, it's a little bit easier on your wallet ;)

I was completely ripped off by this shop. I bought 2 packs of clip in extensions "500$". The woman that works there and probably owns the shop "Sofia" told me it was real hair and the best quality. After a week I realized it was a lie. My hair extensions lasted one week and a half and of course I can't get my money back. This is extremely sad... if you're trying to buy real hair that will last u at least a few months for the right price this is definitely NOT the place you should buy it from. The hair looked good at first but a soon as u straighten it a few times it's done, didn't even had the chance to wash it. Biggest disappointment ever. Don't buy ur hair extensions there. It's a Fraud.

I bought extensions here and the lady that helped me told me the colour match to my hair was perfect and that the extensions I bought were “real hair” and the “best” they had. She had me really sold on them I was confident with what she was saying. As soon as I got home the extensions were waayyyy too thin to blend in to my natural hair and the colour was way off too dark. They only gave me 5 clip pieces as well and from someone who has worn extensions before the proper clip amount is 6-7. I went to another place to find new extensions and they gave me a really good, high quality, actual real hair. I showed them the extensions I got from this place and they had me feel the difference in the hair textures and told me the brand angel hair and wigs sold me didn’t even make extensions as long as the ones I had. Angel wigs and hair will give you any poor quality hair and sell it to you like it’s the best they’ve ever had. Total waste of $200 I was completely ripped off for what was suppose to be %100 real hair turned out to be %100 fake hair. I suggest going elsewhere for extensions.

Alrighty I've been wanting to write a review of how happy I am with Angel Wigs - its been almost 4 weeks since I've purchased and had bead extensions installed at Angel Wigs and they are looking great! This is a lengthy review but I just wanted to share :) The facts: - I have purchased and worn clip ins on and off for about 10 years. some from Angel Wigs some from other distributors. I've been very happy with the clip in's I've purchased from Angel Wigs and they have lasted a long time with proper care. - I have had permanent bead type extensions installed at a high end extension salon about three years ago. Paid about $1,100 for hair, instal and products at that salon. Was overall satisfied with the result and longevity but the price seemed a bit excessive. I also didn't like the requirement to purchase the hair care products in salon and felt there were a few too many extra costs. - Was looking for a more affordable install of real extensions to get the effect of full longer hair without the huge price tag - I have fine hair and do not require multiple packages or high amount of grams to make a difference in overall look. My hair is easy to blend to extensions as it is fine. So it worked well for me. The process: - I first walked in to the angel wigs retail store at kingsway mall. A younger associate helped match my hair color to a set of extensions (real remy hair) and answered all my questions about cost for installation, process and cost for hair) I just wanted to think about it and she was really helpful and didn't put any pressure on. - I called later that week to set up a time to have the extensions installed with bead method. (they also do tape installs and other methods I believe) - I went the next day and the male owner of the store installed the extensions. Compared to the install of bead extensions I had at the other salon, these felt more comfortable right away, like there was less tension. I'm not sure why but anyways it was positive. It took close to an hour for the install, as bead extensions can be a time consuming and tedious process. - I paid $145 for the hair and $150 for the install! The result: - The fact that I paid about $300 total for hair and install compared to $1,100 at an extension salon is amazing. The hair has held up the same as when I had hair and instal at the extension salon and I could not be happier with this value - The reality is that the instal at Angel Wigs is just that - an install - no styling, cut or blending. And no requirement to purchase additional hair care products. Honestly this is my preference as I would rather save the money and play/ style at home. Really all I wanted was the hair and install so it was perfect. - I would suggest that anyone going in to have hair installed really do research on what method would do best with your hair texture so you can be prepared going in and know what you want. While some extension specific salons may do consultations, Angel Wigs does not, as I believe they are primarily retail, although the owner is very knowledgable if you approach with questions. In my opinion if you do your own research and ask questions this is a perfect option for extension installation. - Also i'm just very happy with the color match! Overall: Super happy with value and experience at Angel Wigs!

I have been buying my extensions and wigs from here for 5 years they have always had wonderful service… until this time I bought tape in extensions and there was not the amount there was suppose to be in the package when I called the man on the phone was very rude and wouldn’t not let me exchange because the package was open …. I had to open the package to find out there was missing pieces. In the past I have seen them take from other packages to give a fuller set to customers so I’m wondering if I got left with the package that was taken from in the past …. Very disappointing as I have always loved this place

Order number YWQW1171 since februrary and never received my order but apparently my order iAd Bern delivered. I sent two emails and calo them and nobody answered my emails and its a fax number

literally love this place! I went here when I had keratin tip extensions around christmas (I believe the owner as he's usually there and has lots of product knowledge) got them out for me when I could not find anyone else. I got a very short taper today that I was not prepared for and went in there in not the best mood and he was calm the whole time no matter how long I was taking, how many. questions I asked, or how many wigs I tried on he was so calm and understanding. he understood the type of wigs I liked and was sooo helpful in helping me find a few until I'm comfortable with my hair again. I would 100% go back and recommend. (also he did tell me which wigs I should not use daily and the reason as well as did not try to sell me the most expensive things throughout the shop, he told me which ones I should get based on my needs and not the price, and even when it got busy he still took time out to go to the back and find what I wanted.
