c	chika okafor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was going to be my first time using Amani Hair studio because of the reviews I saw online, but I had the worst phone conversation with they customer service rep. I called to book an appointment for crotchet braids, was required to leave a message and would be called back, but no one did. I called again to book the same appointment and luckily spoke to a rep who informed me about the cost and the discount for paying with cash. I expected to get a confirmation of the booking and promised but I never got one. I called a day before the appointment to confirm my appointment and was rudely informed that I didn’t have an appointment. I dare say that my friends have had similar rude and unprofessional treatment from the customer rep. He lacked empathy, was unwilling to help and extremely disrespectful. I have used other natural hair salons and I have NEVER been spoken this rudely to, and I decided to go somewhere else. this is just putting it nicely. I’m extremely disappointed.

They really know how to keep the integrity of your hair and pick out the best colour for your hair. My extensions blended in so well and the quality of the hair is top. G	G Red on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my daughter to Amani with a hair emergency, a terribly knotted tangle of hair that we were sure we would have to cut off. Michelle and her team worked patiently and tirelessly to unravel the mess over the course of seven hours, staying way past closing and treating my daughter with kindness. And the fee for their hours and hours of work was incredibly reasonable. They made a real positive difference in her day and in her life. When people do great work and show they care, that's the kind of business you want to go to.

I emailed on a day that the salon was closed and still received a timely reply stating they they would in fact be open. I went in for a wash, protein treatment, trim and style. When I say this is the best my hair has felt, looked, shined and moved in 20 years, it is no exaggeration. Michelle and her staff are wonderful, and professional. The atmosphere there is kind and welcoming. It could not have been a better experience. The prices are more than fair. I have since made plans to bring my mother and 7 yr old daughter. I will be coming monthly all the way from Muskoka, it's worth it in every way! Thank you Michelle
A	Aurora Kruk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! My hair type is naturally straight-ish and prone to dryness/fragility. I’ve grown it to about 21” and bleached the hell out of it, so it’s safe to say that it was in fairly rough shape; it looked great when I styled it but not when I just let it air dry. I didn’t want to have to go through the trouble (and incur the damage) every time I left the house, so I figured a keratin treatment might do the trick. I wanted to SCREAM when I saw the results. My hair is about 50x better than I’d imagined in a best-case scenario. It’s so silky that I almost can’t even feel it when I run my fingers through it, and yet it feels thicker and more substantial when I pick it up. Not only can I wash and go, now, but even weeks later, it feels as perfect as freshly flat-ironed hair. It’s way less fragile, too. I’ve noticed a dramatic reduction in breakage. Michele, the stylist/owner was an angel and absolutely hilarious. She made the hours-long process a pleasure to sit through. She went WAY above and beyond to make my hair flawless; it’s clear to see that she takes a huge amount of pride in her work and that she loves both the technical aspects of her job and the joy of making people feel great about themselves. I cannot recommend a keratin treatment at Amani enough!!

Michelle and her team are true professionals. It was my first time doing a weave with closure, so I was a bit nervous. The results turned out better than I ever dreamt of, from the braid to the install everything was impeccable. I Love it!!! and my hair looks and feels amazing!!!!! Thank you soooo much. You guys are truly amazing .

Docelle did the keratin treatment and she took her time to make it perfect. She also made sure to explain the whole process to me step by step. The hair cut was done by Michelle who is confident and knows what she is doing. The receptionist is great with all customers. This was my first visit and it will definitely not be the last.

I received so many compliments. My extensions stayed in place even after weekly washing. I recently went back for a Keratin treatment and my hair looks absolutely gorgeous, bouncy and healthy. Docelle and Michele really take great care of you and deliver beautiful, healthy results every time. I’ve found my new salon ?
