★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just recently took my advanced driving test here. The process from the check-in to the road test and license upgrade/renewal was very smooth sailing. The driver examiner was very clear with her instructions and answered all my questions prior to the test, and was kind enough to acknowledge my nervousness and made me feel comfortable for the duration of the test. She was very compassionate and fair. Instructions were provided clearly during the test and same with the overall assessment. I did passed the road test and had to do a license change and renewal. The lady that assisted me was very helpful and has an excellent customer service. Big thanks to the whole AMA-St. Albert team ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hope this review helps others, so you dont have to experience what I went through. First off alitte background, I had previously went to do my class 5 advance test and after some confusion with my registration I wasn't able to do my test. The instructor told me she'd give me the time to sort it out but not even 5 mins after she decided to cancel my test, not even reschedule like she said she would do. Now with 150$ wasted, I went to try my luck again the week after, the same instructor as last week unfortunately. She was very rude during the whole course of the test and very unclear with her directions. While I can admit i did do some mistakes, I feel like I was setup for failure from the start. She even went as far to rudely question how I was even able to obtain my class 5 gdl, which I passed with 0 mistakes. All in all, this lady should not be an instructor, and I advise going elsewhere or going with a different instructor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried calling to ask one simple question but ended up calling 4 times in total and spending around 30 just going through the phone system to get to a point where I could talk to a real human. At one point the system hung up on me and at another point I made it to a real human to talk to and they told me I was in the wrong place and sent me back to the automated phone system. I then went through trying all the different options to see if it was the right one or if it would send me to a real human to speak to. I finally got to another human was in the wrong place again. But they were nice enough to answer my question rather than sending me back to the automated system. The phone system is absolutely terrible. There are some pretty bad ones out there, but this automated phone system was by far the worst I have used.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for a license renewal a bit of a line up but it went pretty quick, I was welcomed and directed when I walked in lady was very polite and warned me that it could take a while. The lady that did my renewal was quick and efficient took all of 5 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very helpful and prompt service. I'll have my license back by next week thanks to the helpful staff that helped me out. I'm super happy. I'll have all my ID birth certificate and everything else I need by mid next week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I entered the AMA location an agent promptly welcomed me and directed me to the correct location for a renewal transaction. I noticed multiple safety measures were in use, such as: wearing face masks, plexiglass barriers, social distancing markers on the floor, hand sanitizers and other surfaces constantly being sanitized.
My overall wait time was minimal and the service provided was fantastic. Thank you St. Albert AMA.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady doing my road test was very nice, professional and instructive. Instructions and test layout were clear and she was quite friendly and engaging. After passing, we still reviewed in depth on things to improve and how to be a better driver. Overall, great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best prices for insurance I have seen. I travel for work and require travel insurance, I saved over $150 using AMA. Highly recommend! Always helped right away. The staff are pleasant and know what they are doing. You also get lots of member discounts at certain places you go as well on other forms of insurance.
