★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down best dental experience of my life. Fastest most painless extraction I've ever had, the dentist and assistant were so in sync. I was in an out in 15 mins for a wisdom tooth that has haunted me for 8 years! Not excited to return for the other 3 but definitely not nervous!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, My teeth are probably the only part of my body I'm ashamed of.
so imagine how mortifying it is to hear the dentist make fun of them right in front of you. That was my visit a few weeks ago.
So I started this short adventure with calling to have my teeth examined and get a quote on repairs to them.
All started well with the Radiologist taking x-rays. He's a very nice guy. The dentist on the other hand was rude and condescending, plus apparently thought I was deaf.
Then, going against my gut feeling, i booked a cleaning service. Apparently the 150 I paid to be made fun of wasn't enough to get a quote.
Day of the cleaning appointment comes and they cancel on me. Then text back hours later to tell me it's not canceled. Too late as I had already filled the opening in my work schedule. So I rebook. the lady who messaged was nice.
So cleaning day comes and a work emergency arises. So I call the minute I know I can't make it. To inform them I won't be coming. No answer on the phone so I leave a message and text them as well. I then get a phone call from one of the rudest people I've ever dealt with in a personal business.
This person then tells me how inconsiderate I am for not giving them at a minimum 24 hours notice..... even tho they did the exact same thing to me a few weeks back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I use to get the same dentist and hygentist, now there seems to be no continuity. The last few times different dentist and hygentist and it feels like all they want to do is sell me addtitional treatments. Seriously thinking of changing to a new dentist

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Altima Port Hope Dental took great care of me. Heather fitted me in at short notice. Dr. Batani did an excellent professional job! A really old filling had fallen out of one of my top front teeth! I am a senior. Dr. Batani replaced the filling. Now the tooth looks whole. My smile is back! Dr. Batani is really good - such a nice person.
Shawn did his usual excellent job as dental assistant. Thanks to you all. Judy Knight

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really bad tooth ache for days, I tried getting appointments to many walk in dental clinics since I didn’t have a dentist, all over Peterborough but none of them were ready for me. I just googled and Altima dental came as a random clinic and all I want was to get rid of this pain. I drove all the way to Port Hope for this. But I assure you all that drive was worth it. The moment I walked till I got out it was the best and excellent service I have ever got. I am a person who is really nervous about my teeth and that is my only body part which is totally messed up. From the receptionist to all others there treated me really well. I would really love to mention Shawn’s name because he was really good and made me feel really comfortable during my tooth extraction. Dr. Bhavani, I would say he has golden hands, everything was so quick and professional that I didn’t even realize that my tooth is outside now. Once again thankyou guys for helping me out in such a situation.
