★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to let the public know about my 5 year old daughter's amazing experience at Lighthouse Dental office! My daughter needed 2 fillings and saw an awesome dentist by the name of Dr. Merza. Dr. Merza was so kind, patient and had a great sense of humor during the appointment yesterday. This dentist was absolutely fantastic and my daughter left with a huge smile on her face. If you are looking for a place to take your children this is definitely the place to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Website says they can accommodate dental emergencies; called on February 16th and was offered an appointment on February 23rd. When you have a dental emergency with pain, a week's wait is really not accommodation. Stick to the tried and true dentists that have been serving this area for decades. EDITED TO ADD: got lightly "slapped" for giving a two star review to an office I've never visited... but my point is that when you advertise that you can give same day or next day appointments but when a prospective client decides to give you a chance and the appointment is a week away, naturally that client is going to feel like you didn't live up to your promise on your website. I don't need to visit your office to be disappointed that the website isn't true.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I phoned in the morning, in excruciating pain, they had a cancellation so took me in at 3. I needed a wisdom tooth removed and it was the BEST experience from start (making the appointment) to finish - Dr Shawn is AMAZING and quick, explained everything in detail before doing anything, kept updating throughout. The office staff were just as amazing and it was a beautiful experience all the way around. I will never go elsewhere, and I transferred all 3 of my kids over as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i went to lighthouse dental to get my teeth cleaned and had a great experience! the receptionist ladies were fabulous and very kind, they really brought the whole experience together with there welcoming smiles and kind words! the dentist lady was very kind and understanding as well and had lots of patience with me. i’d definitely go back to lighthouse dental!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really great experience at this place. Went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Lighthouse Dental is great! Very comfortable and modern equipment, with very friendly staff. There are countless measures in place for COVID-19 and I felt very safe during my cleaning/check-up. The staff wear masks and lots of other PPE, and socially distance from patients and one another.
The receptionist was very kind over the phone when scheduling my appointment, and very informative about precautionary instructions upon arrival due to the pandemic. I felt very well cared for that that I was in good hands.
During my appointment, the hygienist was very thorough with her cleaning, and very personable. She was very clear with instructions during X-rays, and was very communicative during the cleaning
I had a concern with a tooth and Dr. G was very thorough in diagnosing the issue and recommended a follow-up. The filling was painless and they were very quick, as well as communicative during the procedure.
If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further. I am so happy I found this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Lighthouse Dental in Cobourg for the first time as an emergency client. I was leaving on a trip the very next day and they were able to accommodate me in their busy schedule. They first had me in for just an assessment but quickly rectified the issue and were able to fix my cracked tooth. It was an in and out procedure and not like any other dentist I’ve been to. Everything was very well explained to me! I don’t have insurance coverage and was pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive the procedure was compared to other dentists. All in all, a pleasant, inexpensive, well explained, non stressful experience!
