★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in today for colouring and a hair cut. I met the owner, Mr. Michel Matar. He is a very nice gentleman, very professional and fast. He did colour my hair, cut it and the blow dry ... I just love my amazing curles. I came out feeling like a million bucks. Since noon I’ve been getting so many compliments. Everyone says I look gorgeous and my hair looks fabulous. I think I have found my hairdresser in RH area. Thanks Mr. Matar. I love my new layered hair.

About a year ago my son wanted a haircut and we went in. We saw Julie. She had us at hello! She was awesome: pleasant, highly skilled and fast. Later on I needed stuff done to my hair and I decided to go to her too. And, just like I suspected, she was really good with color, cut and style too! Long story short: we've been her clients ever since.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went for a hair cut last Saturday at Alter Ego for the first time. I called in earlier on Saturday to book an appointment and they happened to be able to squeeze me less than 2 hours. The owner cut my hair. He was wonderful! Friendly, fast, and listened to me for exactly what I wanted. I have very long straight hair. I just wanted a trim but to keep my length as much as possible. He did exactly that. My hair looks so much healthier and can barely tell it's a few inches shorter. I would definitely go back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been getting my hair done at Alter Ego for over four years now, with bi-weekly visits for a blowout, I love it that much. The owner, Michel has European training and has excellent colour, cut, and blow-dry techniques comparable to anyone downtown, especially the Yorkville area.
Super friendly staff and modern aesthetics in the salon. Plenty of free parking and convenient location in Richmond Hill. I love the place!

Michel did a blow-out for me last week and I felt so comfortable and confident with him that I booked an appointment to get my long hair cut and dyed yesterday. I hadn't done a major cut (besides trimming the ends) or coloring my hair in over a decade and I was a tad nervous.
He is AMAZING!! He took the time and effort to do an exceptional job, I have never been so happy with my hair before. I feel great and I've received so many compliments on my new 'do'
