First we were told that parking was $10 but we’re charged $18 and told that’s always been the price, fine just say that in the first place, then we weren’t told where we could park and apparently there is some reserved condo parking but we weren’t told which was which. Also the restaurant was closed yet not advertised as closed when we booked. During the night there was a very loud party at 2 am: we called down to the front desk and they said they would help yet they continued until 4 am. All in all it was a weird place with less then desirable service and amenities. Make sure to confirm all the details with them prior to booking.
E	Everett Gamble on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ was a very clean, modern and great location for a hotel. Downtown access right by beautiful river landing, underground parking available, stones throw away from VIP Scotiabank Theatre, 2 blocks away from the midtown plaza. Many other downtown amenities are all walking dstance, there is e-bike rental somewhere downtown as well (google it ?) Nespresso machine was a delightful bonus for those early morning meetings. Rainforest shower, body wash, shampoo and conditioner is complimentary. card in slot to turn on power and various environmental saving features. Nice tv's, chic and cool atmosphere, alot of business type people stay here, definitely not very family oriented as the room i stayed in was kinda small for a king size bed, but it was good i liked it. Definitely recommend. Exercise room, etc. Didn't really have time to completely explore the site as i pretty much went to sleep after long day.
M	Michelle V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting from Vancouver for work and, overall, I’m glad I picked the Alt Hotel. Good location close to restaurants, shopping, and the airport. Nicely appointed room with good use of space. Pros: Comfortable bed, great rainfall shower, big TV with Chromecast. Cons: PARKING! If I’m spending $18 a day for underground parking, I want a reserved spot, especially since I paid for the week in advance. It’s an Impark lot and open to everyone. I came back one night on a Thursday night at about 10pm to find all the spots full, so I had to park my rental car in the EV charging spot and cross my fingers. Otherwise I would’ve had to find a spot on the street outside (which looked full too) and go in and ask for a parking refund for one night. How incredibly annoying that would’ve been after a long day. Alt Hotel, get that sorted out.

A	Ash R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are nice, beds are comfy and the interior design is amazing. Also the staff at the front desk are very nice. However, when you spend $1000 on a hotel for 5 days you expect free parking. $20 extra a day for parking that isn’t even guaranteed. It’s underground, and half the time it was completely full or almost full, because it’s paid parking for anyone. So weather you are staying there or not you can park there. So if there is no spots, you have to either 1. Park outside and PAY and pray your car doesn’t get broken into(not a lot of spots to begin with outside) or 2. Park a km away and walk. Not impressed with that. Another issue I had was the housekeeping… left a note everyday for 5 days with $5 for them to bring extra coffee to my room. 2/5 times the money was gone and there was no coffee to be seen. Had to go get it myself. Didn’t appreciate the housekeeping staff taking my money and not giving me what I requested! Other than those things, it was a nice stay.

I only gave 4 stars because the parkade for Alt Hotel guests should be marked better & it’s super tight if you’re an Albertan driving a truck! Next time we will drive our smaller vehicle. Beautiful view of the river.
C	Cally G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is great. Rooms are extremely small and dirty. There was bunched up paper towels on the floor. Views are great. The decor gives it a different vibe than the traditional hotel room. They do not have any upgraded rooms in the hotel; just the basics.
R	Rob Moroto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great staff, amazing views, and the rooms are gorgeous! They really outdid themselves here. These are award winning designs and the rooms are super quiet. I wish I could stay in more hotels like this one! I arrived around noon and the front desk was more than happy to accommodate an early check in with no additional fees. The parking was easy to access and if I had to provide any feed back it would be to have some cream for the Nespresso machine in the rooms.
