Horrible claim service. My claim is not attended for last three weeks. No one called me. All offices remains closed, my loaner amount is running out. Waited for hours on the phone, no help from customer service, claim agent or manager. Im going to wait for another day and I will write the names of those involved in the review. I have my loaner car only for the next couple of days. Its been almost 40days now. Please check AMI636 460

Absolutely terrible customer service. I've called my claims adjuster Amanda Samaroo over 35 times during Dec 17 and Jan 24th and she's called me back once and emailed me twice. I would NEVER EVER go with allstate. If you are reading this and arnt with them stay far away.

I would give a zero... STAY AWAY FROM ALLSTATE!!!! Horrible service, like all the other reviews given. No one contacts you back, my adjuster Ricardo Piva or his supervisor Allison Campanelli. Nobody..... after numerous calls and emails. then i get an email after 2 week saying they are going to right off my car, Nobody looked at it then I get this and I have to wait up to a week for further instructions. My car can be fixed for $2,500

I have been driving for over 20 years and through that time I dealt with a number of insurance companies, some were better than other, but NONE were worse than Allstate. If I could give this company negative stars I would, with a big black box warning of β€œSTAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY”. This company provides no service, is not responsible, the agents are not qualified and on top of everything they LIE. It has been a terrible experience from the first day. I truly regret ever signing with this company. If you are interested in learning the reasons behind my opinion please read below: 1)In the beginning, when I first was signing up with company, an agents at the Rymal office in Stony Creek made a mistake when entering my payment information, despite the fact that I provided a void check, and the payment bounced, he contacted me within next few days and we got this issue sorted out. Ha apologized for his mistake, but recorded this incidents as β€œa cancelation for non-payment”. I did not learn about this issue until I started to look for new insurance a year later. The agent who created this record refused to fix it claiming that he cannot see it in the system. I went all the way to the manager of the Rymal branch and that person was absolutely unhelpful as well. An official letter that I received from him contained inaccurate information such as wrong dates. The communication was extremely slow, Allstate agents would not answer the phones and would not reply to my emails. 2)I had an accident that occurred in September, where a truck rolled back into my vehicle on the incline. The truck was American and I called the company in USA. They were perfectly polite and totally admitted the responsibility. The truck agency agent asked me to have my insurance company contact her via phone so that she could wave the liability and get my insurance claim reimbursed. Allstate case manager, which was appointed to my case, did not contact the American company, and proceeded to log the accident as 100% my fault despite American company fully accepting the responsibility. I called and checked in with American side and was plainly told that they were not contacted. So the case manager lied to my face. I tried calling my case agent from Allstate and she never picked up nor called back, despite the fact that I left countless messages and sent numerous emails. I was completely ignored by my case manager for several month forcing me to contact FSRA, FCAC and the Ombudsman’s office. Through these actions I was moved up to a Driver Rehabilitation Specialists, from the head office in Markham, who also proved to be hard to reach, absolutely incapable of answering questions and not particularly polite. He and I corresponded for several month again with him replying once in a blue moon, completely ignoring my requests for re-evaluations of my claim as it has not been done properly. On top of this incredibly slow service I’ve been sent several β€œofficial letters” from Allstate that ALL had mistakes regarding dates. It seems to me that either they cannot read/write of they are purposely sending me wrong information to stretch out the time. The only option that is left is to proceed to small claims court, as we have a solid case built up with all of the emails and letters with wrong and nonsensical information. I have also spoken with local and also Toronto-based newspapers and they are open to an idea to run an expose case on Allstate and now I am also talking with media studio, whose owner also had a negative experience with Allstate. He likes the idea of doing a little expose on the matter.

Stay away. It may seem cheaper than other top-tier insurance companies, but it is filled with unethical and incompetent personnel. I do not support publicly disclosing the individuals, so I will only provide initials for Allstate's record and other people to get a hint if they come across these same individuals (Initials were - AC and LD). I dealt with and got my policies. However, I would warn anyone about their slimy ways of issuing a lower electronic (soft) copy of your policy and then later sending a higher premium in the hard copy even though the first and last month's deposits were taken already based on the original soft copy of the policy. When asked, multiple lame excuses in the form of justification were provided. Go with another tier 1 insurance company, pay a little more but at least be rest assured you won't be scammed and pay the same or more than other reputable companies.

I am very very stressed right now due to the worst ever customer service i am experiencing right now with Allstate Canada, My car was stolen three weeks back, until now no one reached to me to give me any update about my claim, I have got call only once after two weeks for the documents, I have sent all the documents to my advisor already, i am very tired of doing continuously follow up with my advisor, she never replies on email back neither picks my call, and there is no way if some even replied on your voicemail, Claim department gave me my advisor number to follow up with her, but whenever I am trying to call, always no answer, if I call on customer service, they always tell me that someone will call me but again no one really cares. I am using Allstate for home and auto insurance from past 5 years, never claimed anything. Now when I need support from Allstate, what I am getting only stress and ignorance. I have new born baby and my wife is not well too, I have to take them for doctor appointment almost every second day, my rental car is also expired already, waiting for past 24 days. I have nothing to drive and I have no idea what’s going on with my claims. If someone is reading this comment, I would really appreciate to help me out, my claim number is AMA636211. Thanks

The service for claims is very poor and there are no in good hands module when you have a claim. I would never insure with Allstate. My daughter is having nightmares dealing with Allstate added stress she does not need right now. She deals with enough stress front line worker months she has been waiting every time they call another claim agent start all over new car and they cancelled her rental and it's Allstate that has not resolved the claim I will keep putting out there bad service to all media channels

Horrible claim services, got into an accident 3 weeks ago, called at least 20 times, each time I am told I will get a call back, and to this moment nothing. Their offices remain unopened even after lockdown ended a while back, so the only method of contact is phone which most of the time is left unanswered by the specified claim advisor. They've constantly been increasing the increasing the insurance cost without any logical reasoning, even upon questioning no reasonable response is given. Highly recommend that anyone co sidering them stay away.
