I'd rate this 0 stars if I could!!!!! I called them over two weeks ago to book my appointment, was standing in my doctors office without access to a calendar and trusted that the receptionist knew what they were talking about. I was told "Monday November 22" Monday is actually the 21, but Monday at 830 am I show up for my appointment, and get denied. Then they can't accommodate for THEIR mistake! They told me to wait until 11. NO, your receptionist said MONDAY. That means MONDAY!

Theres a reason its alot faster to get in here than the hospital. At the hospital they are professional and compassionate. Here they are rude arrogant gatekeepers and the technician couldnt care less how much pain she causes administuring ultrasound to injured tissue. Its better to wait for a spot at North Bay hospital and be treated with the respect you deserve.

Posting this from my tv's account for some level of anonymity as this is healthcare related. Go somewhere else if you can. The ultrasound found something that wasn't there, and missed something that was. I Went for another ultrasound at a different clinic and they got it right, confirmed later via CT scan. Their error caused a great deal of stress to me and my family and I won't be back. I will say I found the receptionist friendly and professional despite what others have said.

most unprofessional treatment i have ever received. i recall the nurse who wrote my requisition saying something like 'they make their own rules down there'. should have taken her warning.

I had an appointment today at 11am. I followed all the proper protocols and when I checked in the receptionist was on the phone. She put the person on hold and asked for my health card. I gave it to her. Then she screened me which is fine. Then told me I needed to have my temperature checked. No one told me in advance this would happen. I asked "why do you need to check my temperature", that question was met with pure hostility and I was told either get my temperature checked or I could leave and it would be rebooked. I said "your getting frustrated and I'm just trying to ask a question" so I felt forced to allow this to happen. She took the temperature on my wrist said it did not work and proceeded to take it on my forehead. I told her I can appreciate people can be rude, but I'm being kind and asking a question and dont deserve to be met with hostility. I also said I feel my person being violated. I'm here for an ultrasound not anything to do with temperature....she proceeded to laugh at me...I said I'm very uncomfortable and she looked and me and did a Motion with her hands that insinuated "hello look at me I'm uncomfortable too" and I proceeded to say..no not like that I have to Pee. She was extremely hostile and rude. I would like to know who I make a complaint too because that situation was absolutely uncalled for. You dont treat people like that period. This has made me want to never seek medical care again. Rose my technician was kind and I made sure to tell her that before I left.

I have had a couple ultrasounds here in the last few months. The receptionist was very helpful when I had multiple requisition forms(some for bloodwork and others for the ultrasound) and I had been confused which ones I needed to give them so she sorted it all for me. The tech Jasmine(whom introduces herself at every appointment) has always been VERY kind and informative. I am expecting my first child after being told I couldn't even get pregnant so I'm always going into these appointments terrified about how my baby is doing. Jasmine always reassures me instantly and shows me how strong its heartbeat is and how active and healthy it is before taking the pictures my doctor needs. With COVID-19 things have been very unusual for most but I'm sure especially for anyone in the health care field. It should be expected no matter where you go for an appointment that screening protocols will happen, including having your temperature taken. It shouldn't have to be told to you but it is listed on their door before you enter the office. My only complaints are that my significant other cant come to my appointments with me because of COVID and that their ultrasound machines dont have sound so I cant HEAR my babies heartbeat. But both of those are completely out of their control so they still get 5 stars from me!

The receptionist was polite and did her very best to get me in quickly for an important ultrasound. The tech was professional and seemed knowledgeable and thorough. Overall I had a great experience, and was surprised to see some of the other negative reviews.

Likewise I cannot understand the negative reviews on here. We are lucky to have this service in our community otherwise hospital imaging would be backed up so badly it would take weeks to get in. The staff are always professional and knowledgeable. You can generally get in for an image in a few days after your doctor has requested. Its one of the few shining lights of an otherwise broken health care system in Northern Ontario.
