T	Tyler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used them twice so far for 5 day canoe trips for two people. Provided everything needed for the trip in good condition, excellent route suggestions and food was great. All of that for an excellent price point. Will be using again for my next trip.
A	Alex Safri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place to rent from by far. They will deliver kayaks and canoes without paddles/life jackets. You have to drive 30 minutes to pick the accessories up yourself and to drop them off. Extremely disappointing. Use Opengooutfitters if you can, cheaper prices, free delivery, everything delivered, and much much better quality equipment!

Equipment were beat up not as advertised, there were suprised charges and what database. All you guys had were pen and paper. I'm changing my rating from 3 to 1 because of your rude reply.

Something is up with their pricing scheme. Even though they're up front about it... it doesn't seem right. The way they price the rentals using calendar days as opposed to 24 hour periods allows them to double their money on a canoe that is returned in the morning and then rented later that same day. ie. we returned the canoes in the morning but were still paying for them for the rest of the day. There must be a good reason for them to do this... car companies don't charge their customers in this manner so why does Algonquin Bound?

They didn’t have life jackets in my partner’s size, and the attitude of the lady behind the counter was, ‘uh, that's all we got'. On the day of our actual booking, it was raining for a full 24-hours, thunder, lightning, everything - we did not feel safe taking a canoe out. So instead, took back the equipment, (we did not go up to get to where the canoe was for our Shall Lake Excursion, all we had was the paddles, life jackets and bailer) and hoped for a 50% refund - nope, nada. No explanation, just not happening. Well, next time it will always be elsewhere. Definitely, not going back.

Really know their stuff and very helpful! The gear and canoe rentals are very well priced! Can not wait for our next trip!
S	Shawn Ryan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your going to Algonquin Shall Lake Access Point 17, this location will be on your way in. Or if your entering from the East Gate into Algonquin you could make this on your way in. The staff was very friendly, making it easy to get the canoes delivered to the Access Point. The canoes were left by the Permit Office and was an easy walk to Farm Lake. The canoes and the rest of the gear was in good shape. The only thing that I did not like about this place is its online ordering. I ordered the canoes in March for August. It was pending for a long time, but the store wasn't open so I couldn't call to get confirmation of my order. Waited till they were open for the year and they said that they sent me an email confirmation, which I did not see, so I got them to re-send it. Didn't look to close at it once I did get it, and a month before my trip I looked at it again and noticed that they gave me Superlight instead of Featherlight canoes. I called back to try and change it and they couldn't, not that big of a problem but was still a little annoyed about it. Another thing about the online ordering it still states that my order is 'pending' in my account even though I already got it. Overall great store and will return if I end up on this side of the park again. I would just suggested that you call to confirm your order and to check the email confirmation that they are giving you what you ordered.
