★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only did they rent us great canoes and give us excellent service and supplies to have a great trip. When I returned from our journey, I came back with a car that had been smashed while parked. Eventhough the damage did not happen on their property, they offered to help me attach the bumper on to the car allowing me to drive the 4 hours home and be with my family that I missed very much. They did it purely from the kindness of their heart. Good people who just wanted to help and my family and I are grateful. This is the only place I would ever deal with in the region. Thank you again for your help, service... and canoes!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a solo H20 Pack Canoe for Access #2 for 3 days mid-week in August 2021. So impressed with this company & employees, so very nice and knowledgeable. Asked what lakes would be good for only my 2nd solo trip ever and about pack canoe versus solo canoe. Great to deal with on the phone and even better in person. So happy they open up at 7:00 am, just like Ontario Parks office across street from them. Helped me load & tie down canoe on my roof racks, gave me tips. The equipment was top notch, the canoe was beautiful, great double blade paddle that came apart, and the removable yoke came with the yoke pad (they do not charge extra like other companies), also did not charge extra for tie down straps they supplied. I will definitely book again with this company anytime I use Access #2, #3, or #4 to Algonquin PP. Thank you guys for a great experience renting a canoe!

We've booked canoes and gear from here over the years for multiple trips into the west side of Algonquin Park. The equipment is always top notch, the store is conveniently located and easy to find, the service is friendly and they go out of their way to accommodate.
If your trip is out of access points 2, 3 or 4 - give these guys a call.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a canoe from here. The place is really fantastic. They have everything you need for your trip.
The canoe we rented was well-looked after and very light canoe. All items were very clean. Chris mentioned how they clean everything thoroughly between trips.
Chris helped us and offered his expertise with suggestions to tying the canoe down to the car. He was great and very friendly, professional and eager to help us.
Highly recommend. Will definitely rent from here in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here on August 4th, 2017. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products and Algonquin Park. They told me about the lake I was going too, and about how Rain Lake can get bad for parking your cars. When I return the paddles it was raining and they opened the door for me when they saw me coming. Also asked about the trip and the weather on the lake.
Booking the canoes was very easily done over email. I had to add a kayak a few weeks later and it wasn't a problem. There is no down-payment needed, and no canceling fee.
The prices are good and competitive against the competition. Life-jackets are included in the rental price, where many other places charge extra for them. $50 for delivery and pick up of the canoes makes it a breeze to enter and leave the park.
If I end up going back that area of the park I will for sure rent from them again.

They even provided some guidance on route, and park rules under enforcement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re looking for the best place to rent a canoe to get into Algonquin Park, this is the place. Chris and Robin are absolutely amazing folks. Their rates are extremely competitive . They rent all sorts of gear and have a great little shop directly across from the Kearney permit office. They also have a winter camping program to get you started on your winter adventures. What are you waiting for ? Go check them out.
