Auto-Quip is a second- generation owned and operated family business that was established in 1959. Since then our company has grown to be the premiere automotive equipment and supply specialist with locations across Western Canada to serve you. Through our dedicated staff, we have over 250 years’ worth of experience in the automotive field.
Our educated sales team is knowledgeable of the latest market offerings and are able to assist with your equipment and supplies needs at your convenience. Furthermore, our innovative team has experience building a variety of shop layouts from small businesses to large scale automotive dealerships, assisting with facility planning and providing access to detailed AUTOCAD drawings. Our close work with OEM’s car manufacturers translates into helpful information for when we design not only car dealerships but also independent shops. Auto-Quip builds relationships with our customers to provide support long after the sale of our products.
Our in-house service technicians and installers are skilled in their area of work. Our company believes in providing our “Turn-Key” service policy, which means that from start to finish we are always there to assist our customers and give them touch free service. Additionally, we offer warranty on our equipment and service what we sell. By removing intermediaries, we ensure that our customers are assisted in a timely manner.

They outfitted our new shop with lifts, tire machines, transmission jacks etc... everything was done in a timely manner and installation was professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking for shop equipment!

They have supplied and installed all of our shop equipment: including lifts, tire machines, wheel balancers, compressors and take care of our weekly needed supplies. They didn't try to sell me something that was more than I needed. Once I selected to two post lift I wanted, they were super quick to respond to set up installation. The installers were prompt and professional, reviewing with me what my installation options were for placement and setup. They did a great job to be careful and clean-up so I hardly knew they had been there. They called a couple of days later to follow up to see if I had any questions, or needed any adjustments made. All around just a great experience and highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's seems anytime I need parts or service they don't have what I need or are extremely overpriced and rude. There's been multiple occasions I get told "we don't deal with that" "we don't have that" to find out they do in fact have parts or deal with the brands I'm after.
Couldn't tell you if it's poor training or what but the lady there is useless.
