Through-out the years, I have dealt with many awful and poor quality plumbing tradesman. One day a family friend had recommended me to hire Akal Plumbing when I was in need of a reliable Plumber. After doing my research, I had hired them to do the plumbing work for a spec home I built 7 years ago in Vancouver. I was extremely satisfied with the service and quality of work provided to me by Akal Plumbing. After, my positive experience with Akal Plumbing, they have been my go-to company ever since. They have worked and completed many of my spec and custom homes. They have been prompt and timely in getting their work done and also having inspections pass in a reasonable amount of time. Their friendly and diligent staff always kept conversation proactive and also worked well with my other tradesman. Needless to say, I am pleased with the professionalism of the company’s owner, Nicky, who takes real ownership in getting his work done during my tight time restraints and made sure their work was up to the citys specifications. Thank you to Nicky and his management team. Their work is truly impeccable and I would highly recommend them!

My experience with each of the plumbers involved here has been just great. So far I have found them to be very very good on price, and very helpful when it comes to thinking of less expensive yet still effective ways of getting things done. And they are very good at telling me when I don't need to do things as well, they have saved me money time and again and they will save you money too.

We remodelled an old house and the original contractor improperly installed 2 new toilets. He had the pipes going upwards at a 90 degree bend so sewage had to work against gravity. We didn’t know this at the time and had so many issues with clogged toilets. Nicky from Akal Plumbing diagnosed the issue with photos of before and after and helped us so much. He communicated amazingly, extremely knowledgeable hard working and reasonably priced. He is a man of his word and one of the most professional people that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. His crew also fixed several other smaller issues that we had. I gave them the door code and they came on time and left the place immaculate considering they had work in replacing new piping under the house and it was a mud pit from all the rain. It was a big job and it’s never fun to fix some other plumbers mistake. I’m very glad to have found them. They truly are good at what they do.
