★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My basement Airbnb unit notified me at 9PM that the toilet was backed up and some of it was over flowing back into the bathtub and mechanical room as well. Daryll came on a short moments notice to assess the issue and fix it. Turns out the sump pump was clogged. He made sure I understood the work that was performed. The mechanical room was left in a clean state after the work was performed.
The rates are very reasonable as well given it was off hours for this service. It wasn’t that much more expensive than when I had it repaired by a different company back in 2021 during regular daytime hours.

I left a voice mail on Easter Monday request services and Jason has replied to me on the same day, he even accommodated my request to come in earlier than originally booked. I found Jason diagnosis on my hot water system issue was thorough and honest, he deserves deserve a pat on the back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impetus Plumbing and Heating was tasked with upgrading my old water heater tank with a tankless gas heating system. Jason and his team did a fantastic job with not only the install but also explaining the benefits of the new system, provided usage instructions, discussed maintenance schedule, rebate submission assistance, and even took away the old heater tank. I would 100% recommend Impetus to friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very happy with Jason's help today. I called in a bit of a panic as I had woken up and found my bathtub filled with dirty water. I tried snaking it myself with no avail as I kept hitting something metal. Luckily Jason was able to come the same day to help me out! He even came earlier than expected, which I appreciated a lot. I was originally told I might have to wait a day or two but thankfully he was able to fit me in. Jason even asked me questions to make sure he would be able to get the job done, as I live in an apartment meaning my pipes don't just affect me but may also be affected or affect my neighbours.
Jason was able to snake it and got not one but two hair clogs out in what felt like 5 minutes. I was super impressed how he could get past what I could not. Really tells you how much experience plays in this! He was also great to chat with and was very pleasant to have around. Thanks so much Jason!

Jason arrived this morning (right on time) and was able to diagnose the problem, get the parts, make the repairs, and test that everything was working properly before noon! He took the time to show us a video of the repair so we could see exactly what had failed and confirm that it was now working properly. He offered advice and next steps so we felt like we had a good handle on everything, and then he insisted on helping to clean up, which was above and beyond. HIGHLY recommend Impetus and Jason, and will definitely be calling him again in the future when we need a plumber.
