★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would highly recommend a reservation when you come here it’s a bumping place. The head chef here was a sous chef from miku in Vancouver so you can expect nothing but the best and man do they deliver. We got to sit at the bar and watch the sushi getting prepped, what a great experience. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff friendly! I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing. Our server Sayo made the whole experience truly spectacular for us. She came constantly to check on us and was really swift in what she is doing. She was so nice and friendly, even with the mask on you could tell she’s beaming. One of the best services I ever had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a good sign when you see a place busy. Heard about Ajito through social media and decided to give it a try. Tapas style so more smaller shared plates which allows us to try more menu items. Most of the food was pretty good with good flavor. The Takoyaki Poutine was disappointing as it only had Takoyaki sauce, and maybe 3 very slim slivers of octopus. Overall good experience, price was fair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is NOT your typical sushi restaurant rolls, Wasabi, soy sauce etc. Is more of a sushi tapas style. It's so amazing been there 12+ times. And always blows my teast buds, magnificent atmosphere fantastic cocktails. Just be aware that is a medium size restaurant so if all tables are taken then it can and it will be loud around you. Reservations are a must. Is there an specific dish for me to recommend to you the answer is no you will have to try them all and you would not be disappointed try a few on your first visits and then other ones on your second and third ...etc. oh dessert times yes is another must not your typical ice-cream from a Costco bucket nah is freshly make when you order it if you go for ice-cream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Ajito for the first time tonight and I think the food was pretty good! The reason for 4 stars is because I think the service could have been a little better. Servers could have cleared empty glasses and dishes. But overall my experience was pretty good. I will definitely recommend Ajito to friends. And I'll be back soon :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for my birthday. I booked a reservation as it was the day before Valentine's just in case. The hostess at Sho asked right away if we had a reservation when we mentioned we were going to ajito. Maybe this implies it's reservation preferred? Not too many tables maybe around 7-8 if I remember correctly. The place was really nice. The food was fancy, but not too pricey considering how fancy it was. I went in a group of 3 and we all shared food. After tip it was about $40 each. Definitely going back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a big fan of this place! At first I was nervous it was only hyped on the gram, but the food lived up to my expectations! I highly suggest the tuna dish especially if you like a little smokey flavour. The only downfall was the wait time to get in and the service was a little slow. Other than that j great experience, I highly suggest grabbing some friends and sharing dishes here.
