★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing sushi, sashimi and service! Big Catch is an amazing sushi spot in Calgary - perhaps the best, especially for the price point. I am so happy their dine is back open after 2+ years. Their fish is so fresh, rolls amazingly prepared with unique flavours and gorgeous presentation. Honestly 10/10 sushi and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It really is one of, if not, the best sushi place in Calgary. You can tell how much thought and care goes into each piece or roll and the quality really shines through. High grade ingredients and great flavour combinations are what they pride themselves on. Don't be swayed away by some of the prices...you get what you pay for which is just great sushi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will say this is top three best, maybe the best sushi restaurant in town by far. The food is fresh, tasty, good presentation even for take out order. You can notice that their chefs really use their heart to prepare the food. For sure I will keep coming back and bring my son here once he back from holiday because he likes Japanese food. Well done and thank you to prepare such good food for us to enjoy. Arigatogozaimashita

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sushi quality is fantastic, the sashimi is very clearly fresh and great quality. Really, all the ingredients are, the rice, vegetables, are all super fresh. They have extreme attention to details, and the notes are adorable.
The ordering system through their website is extremely easy and functional, it's super slick.
And the service was also great as well.
Will absolutely be coming back! =)

The team at Big Catch apply the Aburi technique of searing the sushi, creating something new and exciting when it comes to traditional Japanese fair. The presentation, and the food was filling, and I enjoyed the shiro rice that uses a red vinegar in its composition. Looking forward to my next dish from here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the friendly service, even if it is just for pickup, and the personalized notes can’t help but make you smile :) The nigiri and sashimi are fantastic and highly recommended. But the oshi rolls (the square ones), while beautiful, are not well balanced with too much rice, which doesn’t allow you to taste the lovely toppings. We’ll be back to try their other round rolls and fill up on their amazing sushi and sashimi. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered a few platters of sushi for takeout during fight night, and wow!!! The flavour combinations mixed with the freshness of the sushi was a game changer. I would highly recommend giving’s Big Catch a try. Big thumbs up to the chefs and will have to try dining in next time.
