★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's great if you head to the trails but technically that wouldn't be Airmens Park. Good place to teach a teenager to drive around their lot since it has a stop sign and plenty of area to teach parking without any actual traffic. For historical purpose or museum visit, I'd rate it almost a zero. It's great if you're into tanks and visit on their annual tank day. They shoot off blanks and the tank guns. They drive the tanks around the grounds. Other than that, it's just a huge parking lot with a soccer field the rest of the year. Plenty of small aircraft to watch landing and taking off to watch if that's your thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much to it. A plane and some benches. Can cross the street to see a few tanks around the tank museum. My 3yo still talks about it all the time - the plane is pretty cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for a quiet place to clear your head in Oshawa? Except for the odd tank… This is a great quiet place to sit. There isn’t really a lot of aircraft traffic in and out of the airport. And sometimes it’s fun to watch them run the tanks around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice spot to relax under shade trees after visiting the Ontario Regiment Tank Museum across the road. Beside the park is the RCAF 420 Wing where there is food and alcohol available. Tanks Saturday's in the summer are awesome with battle reenactments using authentic military vehicles & tanks in themed wars, i.e. WWII, Afghanistan, etc.
