The technician arrived on time but was completely unwilling to answer any questions that I had as a homeowner. Simple questions like "you mentioned when you connected your tool that the refrigerant was low but now it's normal, what would cause that?" Or "how can I prevent frost from accumulating on the pipe leading to the furnace (because its summer and you typically don't see frost accumulation when there's heat)?" And to hear a response of "everything is fine" multiple times followed by "why do I have to repeat myself, everything is fine" is completely unacceptable when I'm being charged $99 for a 5 min visit. I have absolutely no issue with the money but I have a problem with a technician whose job is to deal with homeowners showing such a lack of respect and tact. I'm not asking for my hand to be held or to chat over a cup of coffee so we can thoroughly discuss the inner workings of an air conditioning condenser. I'm asking him to do what I am paying him to do. The only time in our entire interaction that he was pleasant was when I was paying him. At the end of it, I gather I was paying him to just leave my property. Update: After providing my feedback to Aire One on the day of the visit, I was contacted twice during the week by two members of their management team in an effort to rectify the issue. They listened to my concerns and worked with me to straighten everything out. My AC is functioning as it should. While my initial experience was definitely not positive, the experiences that followed have proven that they stand by their service. As a result, I have updated their rating and because of their diligence will most likely use their services again.

This is a quality firm with excellent technicians. We were fortunate to have Dave and Kyle installing our new furnace and AC unit, and what an excellent job they did. Friendly, they answered my questions, explained what they were doing, tested everything when they were done, and walked through the features of the new system with me. They covered the floors with cloths to keep everything clean and they removed the old furnace, AC unit and all the bits and pieces of wire and tubing. I found the pricing to be competitive as well, so I recommend this firm very highly.

Kyle was courteous, very professional, and efficient - and he arrived on time. He also ensured that I was carrying out all of the owner-maintenance and offered some suggestions. Very much appreciated!

We had a problem with a gas leak stemming from a gas meter replacement on a Tuesday night. The company that replaced the gas meter insisted that the problem was not with their gas meter, nor the valve or regulator, but that there was a gas leak inside our home (!!!), which prompted the installatino tech to shut off our gas supply. Called Aire One Heating & Cooling in Markham that same night at 9:00 pm. A gent immediately answered the phone. He said someone would call that night. Aire One's gas technician Zi Hao Yan called us within 10 minutes, and told me he would be at our house the next morning before 8:30am. He showed up early at 7:45. Mr. Zi Hao Yan then proceeded to conduct a very thorough, professional and exhaustive examination of all the gas lines and gas appliances (furnace, hot water heater, stove, gas fireplace insert and generator) in order to determine the source of the leak. After a very methodical analysis, Mr Zi Hao Yan correctly determined that the problem was NOT with any gas piping or gas appliances inside our home, but that the problem was either with a the new but defective supply-side valve supplied with the gas meter that was leaking internally, or with a creeping pressure regulator. The pressure regulator was replaced later that day by the company that had come the night before to replace the gas meter when they determined that the regulator was indeed defective, hence confirming Mr. Zi Hao Yan's diagnosis. Kudos to this company and to this very polite, responsive, thorough and professional technician, Mr. Zi Hao Yan. We will use One Aire for all of our HVAC needs, and recommend them highly. - Asher Levy

I have a technical background so I know how to spot quality people in a heartbeat. Respectful to our property, clean and tidy up service, answered my technical questions, Free pointers and tips. Had furnace and A/C replaced. Everything about this company is first rate from responsive sales to very competitive pricing along with quick and highly professional installation. Could not be more pleased. Carrier and Air One rebate program is misleading, non transparent and virtually impossible if at all possible to achieve.
