★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily the best outdoors store in the KW area. I've been here many times over the last few years and am always confronted many times during my visit by friendly staff looking to help where they can.
It's worth noting, many people may find Adventure Guide more on the pricy side. This is because they are small store and only really carry the best brands and products you can get, thereby increasing the cost. You won't find a Walmart tent here.
This is the best place to get quality gear for the true outdoors people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Erika and Rob were incredibly helpful at finding me gear that fit me right. I'm very glad I came here rather than trying my luck online. I was surprised to find that it even cost the same as what it would have cost to buy through the manufacturer's site, despite coming with far better service.
I'll definitely be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store oddly closes at 4 p.m. on weekends during the holiday shopping season.
I didn’t realize until I typed in the address on google maps at 3:30 p.m. and it said the store would be closed by the time I got there. I thought these hours must be wrong so I called but nope, it closes at 4 lol. Looks like a good store but, now my plan to stop in on my way to Stratford are ruined and I will have to find another time to go even though I don’t need to go back that direction for any reason.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a brutal experience trying to return a pair of running shoes I wore less than ten times. The sole was falling apart already. Since they don’t carry this brand of shoes anymore I was told my only option is to go through the manufacturer directly. Unacceptable customer service in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Selection is limited and I have had staff there tell me to my face they have no idea when or if they will get items in again. Is that the best business model? These types of stores are pricey by nature, so maybe atleast have the selection to back it up...just a thought.
