Advanced Cardiology Consultants and Diagnostics (ACCD)is a one of kind clinic in Western Canada offering complete cardiopulmonary investigations in one roof. Over the last couple of years, we have grown and continue to expand offering a wide variety of services for you and your patients. At ACCD we believe in advanced thinking and this is reflected in the our use of advanced innovative technology focusing on providing exceptional, evidence based, patient centered care, such as on site Exercise Stress Echocardiograms and Carotid Intimal Medial Thickness. ACCD was the first clinic in Alberta to offer onsite Exercise Stress Echocardiograms to help diagnose various cardiac diseases. This unique modality is more specific than the thallium stress test without the harmful radiation exposure.

Our multidisciplinary team uses existing resources and collaborates with various sub-specialities, such as Cardiologists, Respirologists, Radiologists, Internal Medicine, and Family Physicians along with Dietitians, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Sonographers to provide fast, efficient, and complete consultative and diagnostic services, evaluations and therapies. We believe in direct communication with the referring physician, and ongoing and regular updates. In addition, at the clinic multiple languages are spoken further increasing access to the patient. These include English, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Polish, Swahili, Tagalog, Ukrainian, Gujarati and Russian. In fact, ACCD is a leader in starting initiatives in South Asians in Canada, as exemplified by our grassroots level initiative know as DIL Walk.

Heart disease is universal. At ACCD we understand that although the signs, symptoms and treatment of heart disease is the same across all ethnic boundaries, access to information is not. Dr Kapoor did 3 stress & echocardiogram plus countless MPI tests at his facility in last 6 months & told my father his chest pain and pressure he is feeling around his chest is age related and due to arthritis and weakness in his bones. On continuous requests for more tests & an angiographic appointment he wrote the referral saying “nothing is wrong but to clear your doubt I will refer you” we have been asking for these tests for 3 years and now our father was in so much distress. Dr Kapoor talks to patients as they are stupid. My father had 6 stents in past, and now has 4 blockages out of which 2 are 90% 1 at 70% and another one at 50. This doctor had an unnecessary echocardiogram booked at his own clinic just 3 days before his Angiographic test at Foothill Hospital just to make money for his local testing Center. Doctors are shocked to see the results and why out father was ignored like this. Don’t ever go to this doctor. Once our dad is better we will be filing a complaint against the doctor at CPSA.

He has been very keen on my cardiac issues and I thank him and all the staff including cardiac nurse staff . Keep it up?

I recieved no reminder call for my booked appointment (had to search through my files to find it) but I still showed at the clinic and when I arrived, the clinic was closed. I will try calling again and come in person to ask what is going on. Regardless it is a very disorienting and disorganized place.

Even after calling them multiple times asking, they still have not sent them. The lack of concern for patient care at this place is appalling. I WILL be filing a complaint to the CPSA.

The support staff could be more organized on the lower floor and really not a great experience downstairs. Upstairs however the gentleman supervising the stress test was great and both cardiologists were kind. Thank you. Note: It has been a challenge to get my reports sent to my family doctor. I was told that the fax won’t go and so confirmed the number and even sent a fax. Guess they simply never bothered to try. Hopefully when I go to pay and collect reports myself, I won’t be given more excuses for what seems like incompetent support/office staff. My patience is running thin.

Each time I called back, they'd quote me a completely different fax number than the one I kept giving them. Don't go here if you value being treated like a human, and if you're a healthcare provider, don't send your patients here if you want to receive the reports from the testing you ordered. At best, they're lazy and incompetent, at worst, they've been breaching patient privacy multiple times sending the requested reports to some random fax number.

After going for a CT scan in October I was unable to make my Appointment date to review the results. I called to change my review appointment and was told by reception "no need" and that I "was eligible for an on phone consultation" with Doctor Kapoor. I thought this was great and made my first phone call appointment with the Doctor. I sat by the phone waiting on the date and never did receive a call. I called back to the Office & let them know what happened. They apologized and rebooked me for a second call. No big deal. The date of the second call arrived. I waited for 4 hours, once again patiently awaiting the phone call & once again I never received the call. I called the Office again and once again voiced my frustration. This time the receptionist was quite rude to me as if I had no reason to be upset. After calming down a 3rd call appointment was made and once again no call came. I finally gave up with the calls and today called to book an appointment to physically see the Doctor to discuss my results. I was immediately told they cannot get me in until August to discuss my CT scan results that they have had in their possession since the previous October. This is an unacceptable way to treat a patient. I have nothing but good things to say about Doctor Kapoor but whoever is running his administration department is clearly lacking as the many other similar online reviews indicate. As others have stated this seems to be a theme at Advanced Cardiology. Save yourself the headache and try a different outfit. It is sad to say I will be seeking a different place to deal with my health issues going forward even if it delays me finding out my results and possibly being detrimental to my health.
D	Dallas Robinson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't bother trying to get the first booking of the day at 7:30 nobody gets here until 7:45. Then get used to the feel of the waiting room chairs. You will sit in them for about 45 minutes to an hour because bookings don't really matter around here. It's just a random access pass event. They asked why my blood pressure was so high...boy I wonder... If you value your sanity and your time don't book here.
