This place don't like taking clothes from mimorities. When in to sell some summer clothes with the tags still on them, brand new and the sales lady told me the clothes I have is the wrong demographics for the store.

For a clothing store of second hand clothes they are snobby and the clothes basically had to be brand new for them to even take it. Worst place ever too expensive worst place to go to for second had clothes. Very unfriendly staff if I could MINUS 1 STAR. Not even worth bringing your clothes in.

Plenty of brand new and trendy items not chosen by owner for consignment. Too bad I need to make space and get rid of mostly brand new items and dont have many choices to consign in the NE of Calgary. Because of this I will have to return with more items to this business. Return value on items is quite poor but something is better than nothing. Nice manager on duty who advised I can change my mind on items and the rules to consign. Since I shop at Platos, I do know what the selling price is on average for items of clothes and now know this is a profitable venture for this business. Somebody start a consignment store in the Ne and give these guys a run. Lol

Place is run by children, there is absolutely no customer service, came in with a huge bag full of brand new clothes, and two full suits. Was told right off the bat that they don’t take suits? Even though my girlfriend found a blazer hanging for sale in the store… whatever. Gave them this massive bag of brand new clothes (jeans, hunting jacket, everything was brand new or lightly worn) and they only brought 1 thing. To top it all off, I was called 15 mins before the stores closing time and the voicemail that was left on my phone said, very clearly, β€œif you can’t come in and pick up your stuff and money, it will be forfeited to the store”. So we raced over as to not lose everything only to find out they bought 1 item. We were never greeted upon entering the store, I actually said hello to a young man behind the counter who was on his phone, to which I got no reply. I will never be wasting my time with this joke of an establishment. I will be actively not recommending to friends and family. Stay away from this place, the store is completely unorganized with wrong sizes on the wrong racks and shady sales tactics, run by teenagers looking to get expensive clothing easily.

Probably a good idea but i wasn't impressed and wouldn't go back. I get that they only take certain styles but all of my neatly folded clothes, most still with the price tags on were returned upside down and backwards. Just smushed back into the tubs lids didn't fit back on. Out of three large tubs they took 2 sweaters, one GAP and one with an 80$ price tag still on. I made 10$ not worth all the time and effort involved. Having said all that, I must add, the staff were super friendly!

I want to start off by saying that the two individuals working at the store were very friendly and nice which is why I’m giving a 2 star review instead of a 1 star review. This was my first visit so I only brought 3 items, 2 pairs or vans (currently retailing for $130 each, one had tags the other didn’t but both had the original box and packaging) and 3rd item was a pair of PLT boots with the original packaging. All items in total retail for $310 and I would’ve been very happy with getting half of that since I’m having a hard time selling such good and brand new quality items. But I was offered around $37! For all 3! And I was browsing the store for 20ish minutes and most of the shoes are not even close to the quality of my items ( the shoes they have for sale are very worn in and scuffed), which is never worn, and brand new items. I was literally shocked when the girl told me the offer…I had to ask her to repeat it a few times. Overall I’m very dissatisfied with my experience. Aside from the PLT shoes the Vans met their requirements for what they look for when they take in items. I will insert some pictures of my items and you guys can judge if they’re worth $37.

Decent selection, nice staff, ample parking. Didn’t sell them anything, assume they want decent items and pay about 10-20% tag or market value. Typically what most places offer.
