★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So you must live in the area of access to be able to be admitted? There's one blocks away but there's a waiting list to get In there and this one has opening but I can't get in? So I guess back to looking for a new doctor. Even though I currently drive across town to see my old doctor... I still live in the city and pay taxes what a waste...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my father here for his appointment and when he was called in the receptionist quickly turned away from us to have gossip time with one of the other staff there. Once she realized we were just waiting on her she pointed at the room and told us to “go in”. So disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I have been going there since it opened...we were told that the clinic hours would expand to the evenings and weekends...that was about 15 years ago...their hours have gotten worse, our doctor's last appointment is now 2:45 pm...I work in the Polo Park area!!!! We never had a problem with the doctors or staff but it's now time to look for a new doctor!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really glad I found Dr Van via facebook chat. Saw he was new at access and accepting new patients. Called next day and I've seen him ever since. No regrets whatsoever. I even got my hubby in to see him. (Hubby doesn't go to Dr. He says if it ain't broke, don't fix it.) Thank you Dr Van.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Van is the most professional yet caring doctor that I have met in my life. He LISTENS to his patients. Dr. Van is unassuming and treats people with respect and dignity. By a wide margin Dr. Van communicates better than any doctor I've dealt with, and he seems genuinely concerned about his patients while maintaining a postive and professional attitude, without alienating patients who may feel reluctance to sharing. Definitely the number 1 doctor that I have ever been involved with in my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cindy Lee Allen is the worst nurse practitioner. She shouldn’t even have a job here honestly. She denied me treatment because she “didn’t believe” I had the symptoms. I’ve never had problems with access until I got Cindy as a NP. Highly concerned that she still has a job here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Access Transcona is a joke.
My Nurse Practitioner is CINDY ALLEN. She has to be the worst health care worker on God’s green earth. No bedside manner. I lost my doctor of twenty years and ended up with her. I suffer from fibromyalgia and IBS and also migraines. Since I started seeing her I have been taken off my sleeping pills and pain medication. The two things that make my life unbearable. If she the only doctor left in Winnipeg, I would head out of town. Stay away from her. I am certain I am not the only one but people have to speak up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Montgomery is amazing. She listens and understands you and your problem. She absolutely looks at her patients as human beings and not as annoyances or a paycheque. The clinic itself can run quite behind (most I’ve waited is an hour) but, patients can take a while and I know she’s spent longer with me that she probably should have, so I appreciate and understand that each case is different. The staff are lovely and helpful.
