★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perhaps the best photo lab in Vancouver. Before the advent of digital photography, people came to ABC for the best possible prints and enlargements.
This is also the best place to have older photos copied or enhanced.
They are also the best place for large enlargements and posters.
Truly artistic people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been looking for a reliable place on the West coast to get rolls of film developed and scan. One roll of C-41 cost me $50. Had it dropped off for med quality scans on a Thursday, a week later I'm told they were sent. A few phone calls later I'm on hold waiting for files to be uploaded on their end. smh Safe to say I'll stick to shipping them out to my usual place in Toronto for a fraction of the cost.

The person who helped me side stepped my questions about the final price of my prints and I ended up getting prints that are too big and expensive. It was my fault for not confirming everything and being more firm but I felt that the ethics were questionable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Useless! tried sending emails to several contacts, no replies. Tried calling got an answer from someone driving around in a car and was pretty much useless in finding a solution for what I wanted printed. No sort of recommendations, suggestions. I wouldn't bother with ABC there is nothing professional about their service which is too bad because G King before them served me well and when ABC first took over the location was eager to help out, not any more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rarely write reviews. I was moved to write one about ABC Photo Ltd. (Vancouver) and especially about Esther Mavric who works at the front desk and is in the customer service department. I have been working on a project for the past few months and Esther has supported me, been kind, patient, and extremely efficient. I was nervous about taking on such a big project but I quickly realized I had the support of Esther and ABC. What a quality job they did. The photographs are exquisitely printed. Esther took such care in communicating and coming through for me many times during these past months. We're close to the finish line and I am extremely happy with the work that was done. I just had to tell someone. Thank you ABC.

On multiple occasions, they went above and beyond to produce exhibition prints on a very tight turnaround, or facilitate a second set of artwork despite the incredibly challenging restocking issues that are currently plaguing virtually every industry. They really know their stuff, and will advise honestly and professionally. They will sit with you until you are absolutely happy with the result. If so many art professionals with international careers trust ABC Photo, there's a good reason!
