★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has got to be the absolute worst A&w on this island. The service is so ridiculously slow and painful it's like watching paint dry. The food is always given to you cold and the onion rings, for the most part, are just over seasoned with salt. It's absolutely amazing how this particular restaurant on Douglas Street stays in business. Younger people just have no idea how good A&w used to be back in the day. I'm pretty darn positive that I will never be going to get food from that particular location ever again. I don't usually rant like this, but I truly feel that this location needs to be avoided at all cost.

We ordered 6 french fries, all of them were off.
You need to change your oil.
We didn't eat them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got dinner here on Saturday evening and I was so impressed with the service we received from the tall male cashier who was helping us around 730 pm. We had some issues with our coupons and he went above and beyond to help us out. Very friendly staff, food was prepared quick and we were treated with care. Will definitely be back!
The closer A&W location to where I live is on Esquimalt road, and I have been extremely disappointed with the service at that location on many occasions.
From now on, we will always visit the Douglas street location. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we received a few gift cards in the mail we were happy to go for two teen burger meals. Everything was tasty, and we even dined in this time. The place was quiet inside as most people are doing drive through and not dining in these days -even though they are permitted to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food came shockingly fast, I got a beyond burger with cheese and it was honestly very tasty. It was moist and flavourful and the cheese left a nice flavour. Less expensive then I was expecting which was a nice touch. Though the fries weren't quite as fresh - still good though. The root beer float was fun and quite tasty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time getting food from this location as I was headed to the ferry. There was a noticeable wait for my food. I don't mind a wait if they are making my food fresh, but they didn't say anything so I sat wondering while anxious about the delay. When I got my order, the egg was greasy and the English Muffin was burnt.
Due to how long I already waited, I didn't have time to bring up the issue so I broke off the burnt parts, and dabbed the excess grease off on a napkin.
