Everytime I come here the food is always delicious. However lately the service has been degrading. Not all the waitresses are bad, just the ones the like to prejudge us for what we wear. I finished a really good lunch and wanted to order some dessert. The waitress told me to get up and pick something from the pastry. I told the waitress I want the dessert from the menu and she tells me " the menu is more expensive!". Is the waitress trying to tell us we look like those people who doesn't have money to pay for desserts? My friend feels insulted and I was the one who told her the services here are great and the food are excellent. We'll that waitress definitely proof me wrong. When I finally told her we still want the menu, she just slaps the menu on the table and walks away. When we were ready order she told us to hold on and after 15 minutes my friend wanted to leave. Don't come here if the boss isn't around. Only if the boss is around then service is better. However if boss isn't around, some of the waitress will prejudge you and give you a lousy service.

*** DECENT BREAKFAST RESTAURANT *** came here to try the Japanese chicken and waffles after seeing it on an Instagram post, it was good but the texture of the waffle couldn't up hold the fried chicken, was quite the messy eat and didn't compliment well with one another. I also got a signature latte which was amazing! strong, sweet and tasty! PROS β€’ decent breakfast place if you're in the area β€’ lots of parking since it's located in a strip mall β€’ friendly staff β€’ coffee is really good here! CONS β€’ gets busy in here, make sure to book and reserve ahead of time! will be coming back to try more menu items!

Espresso review: well done, nicely balance flavour, though it seems they crutch behind a darker roast. I won't judge them for looking for a more consistent shot, however, as they appear to deliver. Food review: I was extremely impressed with the right balance between creative ingredients and contemporary recipes. You can both feel comfortable and feel like you're treating yourself at the same time.

I really wanted to like this place for it being locally owned and conveniently located in my neighborhood... I've visited twice, and both times, the service was just out of the question. I will NOT voluntarily revisit this place (no complaints about their dishes though - it's hard to get breakfast foods wrong).

I had a free day on Wednesday. Since I have known about this, I have been planning on going to LadyBug Cafe for their PEI Lobster Roll. I have been going to LadyBug Cafe for many years now. I started enjoying their baked goods at the Calgary Farmers Market. I searched them out and since then I would make the sojourn over as I live closer to Chestermere. I was excited as I headed over around 11. I know it gets busy so I was hoping to miss the lunch crowd. When I got there, I noticed they had full service to the tables. The last time I had been there, you went and ordered at the counter, sat down and they would bring your meal when it was ready. This was the first thing I noticed was different. I waited for over 10 min. before I flagged a waitress down for a menu. When she brought it over, I ordered right away as I knew what I wanted; the request for a menu was just to get some service. She was very pleasant and brought my mocha and a glass of water quite quickly. The coffee was in a large cup with a nice design on the top. However, the coffee was lukewarm at best. By the time the meal came, it was cold. I have ordered this lobster roll on several occasions as I thoroughly enjoy lobster but also the lightly fried bun it comes in. That can make or break it as I learned today. The roll I got was rather mangled and it was not toasted. It resembled a hot dog bun from a kids baseball game. This was disappointing but less than seeing the lobster filling covered less than 2/3 of the bun. My first two bites and the last three bites did not have any filling although I tried to even out the filling before I began. While this was a lobster sandwich, it really just tasted like mayo. There was very little lobster taste. Again disappointing. Another feature of this meal I also have enjoyed were the potatoes. They were potato chips just like my mom made. Now, part of this lies with me, but when I was asked what my side was, it was hard to hear the waitress as it was noisy and she was wearing a mask, so I might not have heard her correctly. I ordered potatoes but they came as wedges. No matter, they looked deliciously crunchy. But looks were deceiving as they were soggy. This can only mean they were cooked earlier and heated up in a microwave because if they had been reheated in a frying pan, it would have re-crisped them. Disappointing. The meal came with a nice looking side salad on the plate. It was very fresh looking with a variety of greens and some small yellow tomatoes scattered throughout. But when I tasted it, there was no dressing and arugula can be somewhat bitter. I had a couple of bites but it wasn't very appetizing. However, later when I finished my meal and scraped the salad to the side, there was lots of dressing under the salad? Why? So in the end, this was a terribly costly and disappointing meal. It was 33$ with tip for ONE partially filled sandwich, microwaved potatoes and a salad with the dressing, not on the side but under it. And one lukewarm cup of coffee. WOW, TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING!!! This was the last time for me at LadyBug Cafe. It was so disappointing on so many levels.

Very good brunch this morning with my sweetie. We shared a large French Press and the coffee was very tasty. I ordered the chicken waffle poutine which was on point. Potato wedges were tasty and all was good except perhaps the cheese curds that were all melted. I like mine still a little chunky.

Great little bakery and cafe. We went solely for the hot chocolate, hot chocolate fest Feb 2022. The hot chocolate was on the simpler side, but loved it more then some of the fancy ones we have gotten. Thrilled we went. We bought two pizzas, both were super delicious. They serve breakfast stuff in the AM and Lunch. After 4:30pm is when you can order pizzas…I highly suggest it! Don’t order from door dash or skip, go and pick up your orders! You can buy all kinds of cool coffee grounds, great desserts, frozen homemade soups and pastries you can heat up at home. My wife picked up some macaroons…dam they were good. I hate macaroons, but these were deadly, layered flavour, nailed them perfectly. Washrooms were spotless, spacious and a change table. Lots of parking. Clean and spacious inside the cafe. I believe we met the owner and she was super nice and chatty. When we are back in this side of town we will be back!
