β β β β β This place has gotten a bit more expensive and a lot more odd over the last year or two. Poor Covid precautions β Walked in today and it was quite crowded with employees not wearing masks and one leaning right over my baby stroller to stock shelves. Prices are higher than many other private liquor stores.

β β β β β This store isn't complying with the mandatory mask order. One clerk wearing a neck gaiter, other clerk carrying his in his hand , customer at till no mask at all. When I phoned later I was directed to an assistant manager who put me on hold while she located the manager. The manager told me she would review the tape on the in store camera but staff didn't like to tell customers to wear a mask as they might get upset . Not really good customer service , quite passive aggressive. Wearing a mask in stores is mandatory.

β β β β β I not recommend this store, the cashier's tried charge me different prices, and this situation happened more than 3 times with me. always check the prices guys!!! and this store is the only one store that the card machine ask fr tips!!! and ic you don't give a tips they look gor you like angry and push different prices I've going to the liquid store located close to save on foods, I never ever hav problem there actually. be careful and check the prices!

β β β β β The guy who owns the parent company is a complete scumbag. Todd Abernathy and Gondola Holdings are predatory at best, criminal at worst. The store is nice and well organized. The staff and manager are very helpful and kind. It's so unfortunate that they have to work under such reprehensible and frankly morally bankrupt owners.

β β β β β Got a box wine at it was very off (undrinkable, even for my low standards). They were willing to replace it and we opened all the boxes left they were all off so I had to settle with the least off wine and it tasted horrible. I have never experienced a bad box of wine from BC Liquor stores and I have had a lot of box wines. I suspect shenanigans, perhaps they are getting old stock at discounted prices? Would only give one star but the staff were honest and helpful in trying to resolve the issue.
