We were fortunate to have Steve and Dray as our movers. To begin with we had a very tricky downhill driveway that Steve manoeuvred easily. Very impressive driving skills. Both men were friendly, considerate, energetic, polite, very hard working and knowledgeable. They were a pleasure to be around and wonderful ambassadors for your company. They were highly recommended to us and we will highly recommend you company to others. Good job

Poor experience to say the least. The whole booking to drop off process is quite tentative and poorly conducted/organized. There is absolutely no paperwork provided at the time the items are picked up (no email. no hard copy paperwork or any estimates in writing). They simply send contractors to pick up the stuff who are quite unprofessional and do not wear masks at all. They went in and out of the apartment with their shoes on and with booties or other form of protection for the carpets inside the condo. Both movers had a strong smell of cigarettes and alcohol - the way they were conducting themselves and the incoherent way of carrying the items out, they seemed under the influence to me. Not only did I find this unprofessional but also unsafe and concerned for my items being moved. They took 4.5 hours to get the items out of a 1 bedroom condo and had the front of the building and the sidewalk covered with my house items. The moving company seems to take the lest amount of ownership in the whole transaction. I was missing a few valuable items and they showed absolutely no care or ownership for the lost items. I don;t know how they're in business treating their customers so poorly. I would strongly recommend you STAY AWAY from this moving company to save yourself frustration and your valuable house items. DO NOT EXPECT any type of customer service of any quality.

2 Burley Men is a great company to hire for your moving needs. Jacob the coordinator was quick to respond, answered every question and phone call, and sent another mover an hour into the move when I asked for it. They worked hard, got the job done, and were pleasant through the process. Only thing I could knock them for was a quote that was significantly under what I expected which turned out to be low. That’s ok though. I paid the amount I expected and the value was definitely there. I should point out I’ve moved a few times in the last few years and this was the best experience. Thanks guys! Overall we were very satisfied with the movers. We had a recent long haul from BC to AB. We did have one issue in someone dismantled one piece of furniture incorrectly permanently damaging it. Other than that, we had no issues. The movers picking up and delivering were pleasant and professional. Those ones out of Calgary delivering, were forthright about the damaged piece. They also were excellent in keeping us apprised of the delivery time. Value for money was excellent and we would definitely use them again!

While the company was responsive when planning our move, trouble began on the day of the move. For context we were moving from a condo in Victoria and moving to a condo in Vancouver. 1. Movers arrived 60 min earlier the confirmed (8am instead of 9). Obviously this was disorienting, and the elevators were booked for 9am. 2. They had not planned on the fact that they would need to take a ferry back. This would be a seemingly simple detail for a company that supposedly does this routinely. Therefore at 7pm movers began frantically unpacking and putting items relatively carelessly in our newly painted condo. Including leaning a black table that had not been covered when transported on a white wall. You can imagine what happened. 3. The bed was ‘assembled’: on closer inspection the under bed supports lay under the bed not actually attached along with their screws. 4. Movers frantically left so they could make the ferry back to Victoria and took our keys with them. We were able to speak with the movers themselves the following day who confirmed they had dropped it off with the Victoria head office. We also confirmed this with Victoria head office that they has received them. However, keys never ended up getting mailed. After weeks of further inquiry with short responses and no follow-up. The service department most recently responded with a curt message that the keys have not been located, no apology or reimbursement was offered. Overall, while booking the move went smoothly and our items arrived in one piece, this was a disappointing experience. Such service can only be explained by a degree of incompetence or carelessness. I would not recommend this company. I would suggest Hercules Moving Company instead.

I hired this company to move our belongings on March 30, 2022. The decision was based on a "quote/estimate" provided by the company. There was to be 2 people for 6 hours. The quote was for $950. On the day of our move 3 men were in truck when they arrived. The guys were pleasant and helpful and appeared eager to get the move done right. It took the same amount of time for 3 guys as they quoted for 2. In the end the final bill they presented was $1572+. Almost double what we were expecting. Of course we paid it. It had been an exhausting few days and we had a move to finish. As we unpacked and started getting organized a drawer was discovered completely smashed and held together by tape. We were never informed, instead the drawer was hidden. It is a solid wooden drawer. When I contacted the claims person I was informed very quickly that there would be no compensation for the drawer and that the bill would not be altered. Tough! For anyone considering this company for any type of hauling please do yourself a favour and choose someone else. There's plenty to choose from and they've got to be better.

2 Burley Men provided great service to us. We moved on a very cold day from Calgary to Beaumont. The 2 men, Moo and Steve were great. They handled our furniture and boxes with care. We did not see any damage after we have opened the boxes and arranged the furniture. They were loading and unloading in a safe yet expeditious manner. From start to finish it was a very reasonable time. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again if we ever move again.

I had a very negative experience with 2 Burley Men Moving to help with my move from Alberta to BC. So let's begin: 1. I was quoted over the phone with a final price of $3K-$4K. My final bill was closer to $5K. 2. I was told the movers would arrive to load the truck by 9am. I had to call when they didn't arrive, only to be told they'd arrive by 11am because the mover had slept-in that morning. 3. They do not provide any copies of insurance policies or state what they do not cover as far as damages. 4. Upon arriving to my destination, they require payment first, BEFORE you even see if your property is damaged. 5. My wooden bedframe (valued at over $3,000.00) was snapped in half during the unloading process. My wooden bookshelf (valued at over $500.00) was also destroyed and had shelves missing after it arrived. The movers apologized but said I could start a claim, so I did. The claim was denied because they don't cover wooden materials. After I did some digging, I found the terms and conditions on the website. They do not cover ANY damage to your property, no matter the type of material! So basically, the movers can load your high-priced items, get their money before even unloading the truck, then just destroy your possessions without being held liable. I cannot believe such a scam can exist. I thought a local Canadian company would be smart, efficient and trust-worthy. However, they proved themselves to be anything but that. Why would I ever pay a moving company $5,000.00 to destroy my property?
