★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best bottle return business on Vancouver Island is reopened in Esquimalt.
I have been going here for quite some time, and was so happy when they were able to reopen during the COVID 19 Pandemic.
They have set up a good operation to get people to return their bottles in a safe and orderly way.
I had no problems today, and the staff are still helpful and friendly.
If you haven’t sorted before you get to the location, you will have to sort outside. They have the carts and the blue sorting bins parked where you can grab them.
Then off to the line where there is clearly marked lanes and distancing markers.
Once inside, the staff are there to assist you in getting your bottles and cans returned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best bottle return centre in the city! It is clean, organized, and the staff are all fantastic, and very professional. It is so easy to return bottles there. I could not get to this centre Wednesday to Saturday this week so I went to another facility on Sunday and was really disappointed. I have never seen a more disgusting bottle return centre than the one on Queen St. It made me really appreciate the Esquimalt bottle return. From now on I will only go to this facility. Huge thank you to the staff at the Esquimalt store!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I often use this facility, and am so appreciative of how friendly, knowledgeable and helpful the staff is. It’s great to have a place where we can take our soft plastics, which would be a fair portion of our garbage. The facility provides a great service to the community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We use this facility regularly and appreciate that they take such a varied collection of recyclable goods. The staff are super friendly and helpful too. It’s great being able to drop off almost everything here in one shot. If they don’t take something, they’ll tell you where you can take it, or if it is destined for the landfill to save you time researching. They really know their stuff and seem to love to educate visitors on how to recycle even more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place and the staff!!! You couldn't have a more enjoyable experience with a bottle depot . They have very well made carts that allow u to stack on the bottom and top as well as easy to use plastic trays. Bringing in excess soft plastic, cardboard, and glass is allowed and bins are laid out and labelled appropriately. The staff are friendly, good spirited, and readily willing to answer any question pertaining to sorting or placement of all recyclable materials they accept. Also it is a great place to get rid of styrofoam which is very hard to recycle. Less that goes to the landfill the better! Keep up the good work guys!!!?
