★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a mixup with my reservation but the staff were fantastic! They resolved it so quickly and efficiently! The rooms are very clean, beds are comfy, free onsite parking and wifi. Seriously, what else could a person ask for?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner kept telling us to be quiet, we had 5 kids with us. It was a long drive and they wanted to stretch and be outside. Then the owner told us check out was at 10am. It was outdated and our reservations were not the right ones and they did nothing to fix it. So we were happy to be out at 10am even though check out was 11am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEST Motel I have stayed at... gorgeous room with hand made log furniture, huge king sized, comfortable bed, friendliest staff, greeted me happily at 1 am!! Cleanest room - seriously spotless. Great set up, large layout. Very affordable rate as well. Thank you Yellow Headhead Motel!!!

The rooms are big, super clean with everything you need (fridge, coffee machine, TV, WiFi, hair drier, ...). Furnishing is a little old but well maintained. Lots of clean towels in the bathroom. My personal highlight in the bathroom: a window. Love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Checked in and checked out, the room was kept at a temperature just above freezing and was not preheated. The heaters to heat the space were just as old as the building and one of them didn't even work. The one radiant baseboard heater near the door was expected to heat the room but probably would've taken hours to get to a decent temperature. Traveling with the wife and 5 month old baby this was completely unacceptable.
Only reason it's not a one star rating is that the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, no complaints on the staff and getting a refund was painless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had the pleasure of staying at this motel twice and is our go-to when travelling through Valemount. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are extremely clean. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super cheap nightly rates. The room was super clean and really nice real wood furniture. Like most motels, parking was literally pull up to your room which I found really convenient as I was traveling with an infant. Would definitely stay here again if ever the opportunity presented itself.
