My experience was not great with this company. After leaving the lot and arriving downtown we noticed that our signal light was not working after several near misses on the highway. We called the company and the said they would reimburse us for the repairs at the mechanic and for our time. We got it fixed with a mechanic in Toronto on a Sunday which took us all day to figure out (at the beginning of a family vacation) Upon returning it, the man who checked me out seemed confused and angry that I would go to the mechanic saying β€œwhy would she tell you to do that” and said if we got a ticket from police they would have paid for it (Not taking into account how dangerous it is to drive with no signal light and one break light) He told me he didn’t want to be taken for a ride and he offered me $50 off. Which including the repairs was $38 off a $1200.00 rental. It was very uncomfortable and not once did anyone apologize for the inconvenience. This is the last time I will rent from this company and if the car quality and costumer service is important to you, I would steer clear as well! (Also not one person was wearing mask)

So let me tell prospective customers about the extra ordinary ordeal with Bhagat Singh at Yellowcar rental. So our group consisted of 3 small families of front line health care workers consisting of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and lab technologists, who had collectively decided to alleviate our stress. We decided to book a rental Mercedes van so we could collectively spend more time together. Within the first hour of driving, the car was found with minor faults such as non-working AC and lack of USB access to attach our GPS. Nonetheless, the biggest shock after driving for 80km within speed limit was loss of power steering as well as lack of acceleration and braking system! Mind you, we were on the highway with young kids in the car. Do you recognize the terror we felt with a loud crack we heard the radiator belt being broken, we collectively PRAYED to reach the nearest Mercedes shop in one piece. We were notified by Mercedes shop mechanic that the car was irreparable for the time being - would require a week to fix. So we kindly called the point of contact Bhagat Singh with whom someone from our group spoke to very kindly urging Mr Singh,Β  "Sir we need help, unfortunately our journey was interrupted due to this accident". To which we were notified it would take an hour for another driver to bring another car in working condition to reach us. After 2 hours of waiting in a hot parking lot with no access to nearby water or shade to help assist with children in 26Β°. We reach Bhagat Singh again, where he continued to pacify us by reporting that, "it would take 5/10 minutes", "the driver has left", "the driver is not responding to me". Another half an hour passes after which I spoke to this gentleman where I notified him, "I still am not able to connect with the incoming driver with a working car". Mr. Bhagat Singh decided to to notify me, "Its has not been an hour, I do not need to deal with this crap from you, I can not predict the car's problems". While I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment that Mr. Bhagat Singh is no car whisperer, however the least we could do as health care professionals was tell the time. In my humble opinion, I reminded the gentleman very calmly and collectively with the right language that, "Unfortunately as a gentleman working with a rental company, you are responsible for a car's safety and checkup". Lovely Mr. Singh reported, "If you don't want the car, you can walk away. Why don't you just walk away. I don't need to give you any car". I believe Mr. Singh was under misunderstanding; as a customer we had in fact already paid for the car rental we had also paid for our camping reservations which we would loose due to increasing tardiness. When I remained quite, Mr. Singh was encouraged to provide me further information such as, "You are not my customer, why are you talking to me? I was talking to that doctor guy. This is useless". After such lovely proclamation,Β  Mr. Bhagat Singh decided to hang up the call, while my family and 2 others remained stranded in a parking lot with kids. After sometime, the incoming blessed driver brought us a Ford car (not the agreed upon brand nor matched in price range we paid for), however the car was thankfully at least in a working condition. The driver attempted to "check" on the viability of the Mercedes car, sufficiently to say it did not pass the basic standard. The rest of the drive to the camping site and its safety remains to be seen, we have not made any claims directly with the car rental company in fear of possible blackmail, overcharges or having to remain stranded away from home. A simple lesson learned, take it with a grain of salt - never again.

This company never care, I asked them to call me by manager but never called back...I did not use car that much more then 1000km wasted because car was not safe 1. More then 140k driven old car 2.Engine light on 3.cant drive on winter , can't change windshield because to open hood ... everything broken 4.Unsafe seatbelt Lots of fault, They will never reach you back, only take your money, if you want to be safe on rode don't rent from them

They wrongfully charged my card $1392 a month after the rental was closed and then when getting a refund they didn't issue the full amount and had to chase after them to add the rest. They were still short $10 after the 2nd refund amount. Not going to bother with it at this point, but i'd go with someone else if you can.

Excellent Service! They saved my trip when last minute restrictions got my coach bus unable to fit the needed amount of people. They picked up calls late night and were very professional every step of the way. Would recommend them to everyone!

What a wrost service, Danger Car given...If you can prove me..... 1. Car charger spot on car do not work...How can some one drive GPS 2.Hood can not be opened, No windshield can be used, How can people drive in winter is it safe. 3. Car seat strangle the kid, safety and dangerous.. 4. Engine sign on, How can car is safe when engine sign on . 5. Driven 148 and no alignment... And I left my concern, never received sorry or apologize.....Wrost Service....Never Rent ....and I am waiting for their response let's see ..

We are also a local Brampton company, we refer lot of people to rent with yellow car rental. But they ware ripped us too. Something happened in their facility with their drivers and they charge us one day rent and thousand plus dollars extra. We all knew in canada not that much options to rent10-12 passengers even GTA and all over canada. That’s why they are using this advantage to steel Canadians money. Anyway Never recommend yellow car rental.

Really disappointed in this company. Came here to support local businesses instead of going to the bigger establishment like enterprise, Alamo, etc.. roughly the same price. When we got the car, we did not expect it to be that bad.. the car had many damages like the photos posted in this review. The antenna was even missing.. the driver seat is broken.. one of the rear passenger door was not working. We also did not expect to get the car with an empty tank of gas. It was like the car wasn’t even ready for us. We reserved the car two weeks in advance. We got the car as if the previous renter just dropped it off. We informed the owner or manager working there and he asked what we want for a discount. We didn’t want to say anything and gave him the choice to make the offer. He gave us a 10% discount judging by the total cost of $940 He said it’s close to about $100. So my friend agreed to it. During our trip, the broken door was rattling and making noises at highway speeds. So it was not a good experience going up to Montreal for 3 days with that noise. Few days after, I checked my credit card statement and they did not input the 10% discount. We called them and they were already giving us a hard time.. In the end they told us that they’re giving us 10% off before taxes. Which was only $80 discount. We spoke to the manager that gave us the discount and he said he can only do before taxes and that he was looking at the total amount when he decided on the discount. So it was his mistake that he admit to and he started being so rude over the phone and raising his voice. All I asked if there’s anything else he can do since the door was making noises.. he started to laugh.. he said β€œI already gave you a discount, that’s it. Goodbye.” No need to be so rude to your customer. Once they got your money, it’s over. I actually feel bad for the two lovely ladies working for him behind the desk. They were actually nice. Will not ever rent from this company again and do not recommend anyone to rent from them. Prepare to receive a junk car.
