★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love the Schawarma and Falafel sandwiches but did not even know Donair was a thing. So we were excited to find out Canadians had their own version of the popular street food. To be honest, when I asked what the difference was and being told that the donair sauce is sweet, I was not sure I would like it. But, it totally worked and was delicious. We were treated well by the two young ladies that served us. We were even offered a small serving of baklava to enjoy with our lunch. Thanks Ladies! For us, this was a great stop off the Interstate while travellling from Olds to Calgary.

This is the only donair place in Airdrie so the 5 star reviews must be from people who have never had a good donair yet.
If you want an overpriced, tasteless donair, this is the place. However, if you want a good donair, go elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Xtreme mix (beef & chicken) donair from here = best donair I have had to date, hands down! I deeply regret that I didn't follow through on a promise almost a year ago to try these folks out. My first time having an Xtreme donair today was heavenly food bliss! I got mine with garlic sauce and most of the veggie extras. Every bite from the first to the last was super tasty and delish! I definitely want to add cheese to my next one, as that will make a fantastic lunch even better. Owner Marwan is also a great individual to converse with and I was served well by his staff. I will be highly recommending and returning to XD for sometime - it is SOOOO worth the trip from anywhere outside Airdrie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing. The Donairs are very very tasty with very fresh quality ingredients. I just went there for the first time last night and the owner and staff are friendly, funny and very personable. Don't get me started on the baklava!!!! Best I've ever tasted, it was still crispy but favorable. I even lied to my husband and said they were horrible so I could eat them all myself.
