T	Tony Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pearls are soft, warm and chewy--but then the ice cold drink will eventually harden the pearls (especially so if you mix it). A bit disappointing considering that other bubble teas can maintain their softness even when cold.
A	Ads on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here.. the happy hour menu is all day, every day which sounds like one goddam awesome day to me! This BBT joint 幸福堂 handcrafts the Pearls which is pretty rad. My friend had the strawberry Pearls which were pretty yummy, but more for texture and lacking of actually tasting like strawberry. I do like how they offer quite a wide range of topping options compared to most BBT joints. The green tea Jelly was super yum and a solid choice. Unfortunately they were out of Buckwheat at the time (although this I'd an awesome non-dairy alternative), otherwise I would have tried fresh Taro Milk with buckwheat milk instead. The regular pre-made mixes already contain specific levels if sugar so you don't ask for a percentage, only ice which I am not really keen on as you can't control the amount of sugar your having and my Taro Milk Tea was extremely sweet (albeit delicious) and a lot of the powder seemed to be stuck at the bottom and sticking to the jelly even after thorough stirring. To add, the milk Teas are dairy-based and no alternative, I believe it's a pre-made powder mixed. Staff were pretty rude and short tempered to be honest, but a very nice vibe and interior.. loving the paper-mache style bubble tea at the entrance! All in all, good value for money (especially happy hour), but not the best bubble tea nor the worst iv had in Vancouver and wouldn't be in a hurry to go back. One thing I did love was the green tea Jelly and haven't been able to find this anywhere else.

I think they might have changed the recipe for the pearls because it is clear translucent pink and not made from tapioca (it is made from starch or agar instead. The pearls from this drink is crunchy and not chewy like previously when I had the drink) EDIT: thank you for replying! Understood~
J	Jan Raven on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh Taro! I’m impressed. Very decent quality and tasty, we tried the Dawson Burnaby location today. Sister had Brown Sugar Herbal Pearls; really enjoyed this experience. Friendly efficient service too.

The strawberry milk has very light strawberry taste, it’s almost like drinking sugar sweetened whole milk. The Mango smoothie is nothing special either, tasted artificial in general.

I love that they have brown sugar and strawberry pearl options to suit the creamy tea and the tart fruity drinks, respectively. Vegan friend sly - soy milk and buckwheat milk alternatives with drinks suited to the taste/texture of the milk alternatives.

The boba was most satisfyingly chewy and the milk was creamy almost like ice cream. I finished it fearing that I wouldn't like normal boba again because this one was so rich in flavour. They have good seating room both inside and outside at this location.

First off their regular sizes are smaller than a standard size bubble tea at any other bubble tea place but for the higher price. They advertise their products as no additives but the after taste definitely tastes like artificial additives. Secondly, the cup had a leak on the side and I had to use a tissue to hold and cover the leak. I was not impressed at all. Will not go back
